WE'RE HOME!

\Well, we made it home safe and sound on Wednesday night at 9pm! Our travel home was flawless! The Lord was with us... making our path straight at every turn!

We left the hotel at 7:30am en route to Guangzhou airport. Our flight to Beijing was scheduled for 9:30am. We had no issues getting our tickets and getting on the flight. We arrived in Beijing at 12:30pm. We had originally been told that we wouldn't be able to check in for the International flight until 3pm as the flight was at 6:30pm. That info was WRONG! We walked right up to the United counter and checked in for the flight right away! The attendant gave us 4 seats together in the middle row of 5 seats. He left the middle seat open so we could have the whole row! We then had a nice lunch at Kenny Rogers Roasters! We were determined to use up the last of the Chinese money we were carrying! We were then able to proceeded through security and on to the International departures area. We still had 4 hours before the flight. We walked around for awhile and then came across a Lego sponsored play area! :) The kids played there for 1 1/2 hours! We spent the rest of the time snacking and walking. The International flight was not full and boarded on time. We took off slightly early. The flight was just under 13 hours. The kids fell asleep IMMEDIATELY! Kiah slept right until it was time to land and Logan woke up about 1.5 hours before landing. Our luggage claim / customs/ immigration process was FLAWLESS as well! We came through the big double doors at Dulles airport to see Katelyn and her boyfriend Bobby! I wasn't sure it was Katelyn at first! She changed her hair color AGAIN!

It was great to finally be home and to introduce Logan to my parents and his siblings! Logan is being cautious! We think he grew to believe we lived in hotels and ate from a buffet every morning! He is having an awful time with jet lag. He is still very attached to me. He will allow Brandon to play with him, feed him and change him but he wants me in his line of sight at all times. I'm one tired MOMMY! I was so happy to see all my kids together! I have been praising the Lord non-stop for all his blessings!

I believe the Lord gave me a verse to remember for this trip. 5 days before we left a huge black SUV zoomed by us. I looked up right as it passed and just saw the license plate. It was PSLM 911. I happen to keep a Bible in my car and looked up the verse immediately.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1

The rest of Psalm 91 is just as beautiful....

2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."

3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-

10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."
