I just learned that Brea - a special needs child whose parents were a part of our group in China - is in REAL need of prayer as she is currently on a ventilator and fighting for her life! I have put the link here for friends to learn more about Brea and her dear family! Barb

Comments: Dear Barb, I was so touched by your lovely journal, photos, and of course, your daughter Malia. I am an adoptive mother of another beautiful little girl who is from Jiangxi province. My daughter Tara Ming Hua is now 5 years old. It will be our 4th Gotcha Day this March 23rd but it seems like yesterday. I have been reading lots of the journals lately. Comments: As my husband and I wait for our travel arrangements to pick up our darling daughter from China, I was browsing some sights and came upon your story. What a beautiful journey and beautiful daughter!! I realized pretty quickly that we must live in the same area of Indy! We are in the Irvington area also (near Comm East). Ironically, there is another couple in the Irvington area we have met that are heading to China for their forever daughter also. In fact, we will be in the same travel group, our daughters are in the same orphanage and will soon be living in the same neighborhood! Your daughter is'nt much older than ours.
