After 19 long months of waiting here is what we have learned about our precious daughter:

The name given to her by one of the orphanage workers is Zhang Chun Xue, which means Spring Snow. Her referral states this name was chosen for her because "she came at the time when the winter is to go and the spring is to come". She is at the Bengbu Orphanage in Bengbu City in the Anhui Province.

Chun Xue was born February 5, 2006, making her currently 16 months old. Her height is 25.6 inches tall and weight is 17.64 pounds. She was found the same day she was born. Her personal information tells us:

She is outgoing, active, energetic, talkative, and sometimes obstinate (yikes!). Chun Xue enjoys music and singing. Her favorite activity is riding a rocking horse and her favorite toy is a jingle bell on a handle. She can crawl on her hands and knees, stand alone steadily and walk while holding onto a handrail. Apparently she is a deep sleeper too, yeah!. She can imitate words and even speak 3-5 words. Her caregivers report that she smiles sweetly and has very expressive eyes.

This sweet little one is a PERFECT fit for our family. God is SO good, she is all we've dreamed about and so much more. Praise be to our Lord and Savior for this precious gift.
