Kelly, Thank you for including me in your email. I am so excited for you guys. This is very close to my heart as 3 years ago we were trying to adopt a girl from China. God had different plans and we brought Gracie home from Gulfcoast hospital, but God is so Good! I'm anxiously awaiting Zoe's arrival too! In Christ's Love, Kim O'Grosky
Hey guys, This is all such a wonderful thing and I am thrilled for you all. Holly looks beautiful and always and the the other three little toe heads look happy as can be. We are all fine here still chasing our tails but that too has meaning. Take care and give everyone my love, Debbie
Dear Zoe, This is Emma, one of your big sisters. I can't wait to share my Barbies with you. Mommy talks about you all the time and I can't wait to meet you. I think Mommy and I are the most excited to see you. We're going to have a beautiful room that I want to be pink and yellow. Mommy wants it to be purple and lime green. I'm going to take care of you and change your diaper. I think we're going to look a like. Also, I'm going to love you forever! Love, Emma Grace, your mei mei. (Sister)
Dear Zoe, I love your forever family and you. I can hardly wait to meet you. Nana
Dear Zoe, We don't know you yet physically but we do know who you will be. You will be loved by God first and most importantly. You will have two wonderful parents to raise you in a loving, kind and gentle manner. You will never be bored with four rowdy siblings especially Jacob. You will be loved by a wonderful church family who can't wait to welcome you. You will be spoiled rotten. Know your parents loved you greatly before they even saw you! You will also have a little playmate from Guatemala to keep you active. Little Miss Zoe, we love you and welcome you to this world. We can't wait to see you and hold you. Always know your parents love you so much, almost as much as God does. Love, The McDaniels
Just saw your post on the July DTC group and had to pop over. I'm addicted to web pages and family blogs. LOL Isn't this wait something else?!? Dear Zoe Michael, It's your Mommy! I saw this on another adoption website today, I wanted to post it here so that someday you will be able to read this and know how much we miss and love you already! Kisses In the Wind We hold you in our heart & touch you in our dreams. You are here each day with us, at least that's how it seems. We know you wonder where we are...and what's taking us so long. But remember child we love you so and God will keep you strong. Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin... Because tonight, just as always, we'll be blowing you kisses in the wind. May God hold you in his hand until we can be with you. We promise you darling we are doing all that we can do. Very soon you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, we blow you kisses in the wind. May God wrap you in His arms and hold you tight, and let the angels bring the kisses that we send to you each night. Author Unknown

So does my husband but his timing is not as urgent as mine. I want to get started right now. I was wondering what Steven Curtis Chapman cd you were listening to. my email is slzuelke@charter.net I am looking forward to reading about your referral. Dear Zoe, It's your Mommy again. I'm so anxious to see your precious little face. Your brothers and sisters are anxious to meet you also. I'm still sending you kisses in the wind and am praying that this process will begin to progress!! We have been praying and thinking about you for over a year now. Yesterday was Easter Sunday and a very special day for us. Your "Uncle Mick" has been in heaven for a year now -- oh how he would have spoiled you. You know, you're named after him! :) We miss him terribly and I'm sorry that he won't be around to help us raise you and your brothers and sisters. Zoe, we love the Lord and we can't wait to teach you all about Jesus and how he died for our sins. We know without a doubt that the Lord wants us to have you and he will work out all the details of matching us with you and then bringing you home. I love you Zoe Michael!
Dear Zoe, This is your Aunt Shelly again. Uncle Rob and I have a surprise for you! I can't wait until we can share it with you. I guess God is teaching us all a little more than we really want to know about patience!!! Love you bunches!! Aunt Shelly
Dear Zoe, It's Mommy again! I found out what the surprise is...you're going to have a cousin from Vietnam!! Isn't that just the best news ever! Aunt Shelly and Uncle Rob are adopting a little boy! We are so very excited for us all to be united as a family. It's so great, you and your little cousin may look more alike than Erin and Holly! :) I love you Zoe Michael. Mommy and Daddy are coming. Kisses in the wind baby girl!!!
Hi Kelly! Fellow July Dragonfly here...the wait is so hard, I know. I've got everything ready and waiting...I just had to be re-fingerprinted as well and had the same question (why can't they use the same prints???). Here's hoping this will all end very soon and we'll have our daughters! Caryn

Hi everyone! It is Brooke in Las Vegas. What a BEAUTIFUL family you have, and I am thrilled to hear about Zoe coming...what a lucky little girl. Take care and we look forward to seeing all of you sometime. Carli, Blake and Drew would love to meet their (second?) cousins! xoxo... Brooke.
Hi Zoe! It's Mommy again. The rumors are floating again that the slowdown is going to continue for several more months. We may not see your precious little face until later this year. It's so painful waiting and waiting and waiting. I know that it's all in the Lord's timing and you're just not ready for us yet. My heart aches to hold you. I hope your brothers and sisters know how much I love them -- they are absolutely the light of my life. I'm so proud of each of them. They will all love you very much. This process is so long and seems unending. However, I know that when we hold you for the first time, all this pain will go away. Just like the first time I held each of your siblings -- the pain just went away. God is so Good! I know some may think this is just "drama" but truly my heart aches for you. Also, some people don't understand how we could want another child -- our lives are so hectic now with the four we already have. I can't imagine my life without you being here, right in the middle of the chaos! :) We may be busy and things may be crazy from time to time but we have lots of love to go around. I just want you home. I want the wait to be over. I love you Zoe Michael. Kisses in the wind.
We Love you guys so much.......You are such a blessing to OUR entire family more than you'll ever know! Mick would truly be AMAZED at all the wonderful things you have done, not only to honor him and glorify God, but for his children and the rest of us he's left behind. Soooooo much precious time have you dedicated to Micks memory and have truly kept it ALIVE! I truly can't wait to meet ZOE MICHAEL ----we already knows she's a pretty special girl! I am so glad you are a part of our family! We truly Love you guys..... Joey Joey
Enjoyed reading your site.....thanks for sharing :). We are also adopting from China. I Look forward to following your journey. Crystal & Mark LID July 15th America World Adoption Agency Florida
Dear Zoe, Mommy again! It's 2:53am and I can't sleep. Your big sister Emma isn't feeling well. I've been up holding her and thinking how much I love all of you, my wonderful blessings. It's possible that we might actually see your precious face very soon. The wait has been so long -- but will be worth every moment once we have you home with us. I just kissed all of your brothers and sisters for you. I still check on them in the night when I wake. I climb the stairs and quietly sneak into their rooms and make sure they're sleeping OK, I kiss their cheeks, cover them up and say a little thank you to our the Lord for loaning them to us. I will do the same with you when you're home -- I promise. I don't want to get my hopes up too much but there are some very positive rumors beginning to surface. There are lots of people praying for you, so many people already love you. Good night little one, or should I say good morning -- I've lost track!
Dear Zoe, It's August 1st and I've been waiting to say this for such a long time. I think we might just get to see your sweet little face this month. I'm guarding my heart because I think it might break if I don't see you soon. I know the Lord has you all picked out for us and I'm trying so hard to be still and wait. Many of my friends in the adoption world have received their referrals and I'm so very happy for them. The babies are all so sweet and cute. We've been on vacation this week at Big Canoe, GA and we've seen many little lady bugs and they are just a sweet reminder from the Lord that you will soon be on your way to your forever family. One other amazing bit of news is that you have a new cousin and he's so handsome. I keep staring at his photo and can't believe he will soon be with his forever family too!! :) Aunt Shelly and Uncle Rob hope that he will be home by Christmas. This is going to be a busy year for our family because you also will have a new baby cousin from Aunt Tiff and Uncle Josh AND Aunt Emily and Uncle Steve. Our family is growing -- it's so exciting. I love you Zoe Michael. Kisses in the wind!
Hi Kelly, I only have dial up so unfortunatley I couldn't see the video of the orphanage. I love your website, you are helping a lot of other children through this site I believe. What people don't see they don't think of. America needs to see these children and bring them "home". I will be praying for you and your family and I am also going to send prayer requests out to friends. I think of you daily and I can't wait until Zoe is here safely in your arms. May God Bless you and keep you in His arms and bring Zoe home by October, Love Carla
Don't worry Kelly she will be here soon! I love you and I haven't quit praying! Jennifer
Hi! My husband and I are currently waiting to be logged in the books in China. Our papers are currently being translated. Linda Rice has told me of your long journey. We are also in the waiting process. It is interesting how life continues to live even though waiting is our game. You have our good wishes and our prayers. Kelly Albers
As I looked at the video, I truly got "goosebumps" realizing that I would soon have such a special niece. We are waiting anxiously with you and praying that little Zoe already knows in her heart that she has a wonderful future ahead of her. The scriptures say that the Lord knows every hair on our head, and he takes care of even the millions of lillies in the fields. So, I am confident that He is keeping Zoe safe and secure while she also waits for her new home and family. I forwarded the video and your website to a dear friend who is also awaiting the arrival of a little one from China. They have agreed to parent a "special needs" child, and you can imagine how difficult it is to place a little one with handicapping conditions. Like both of you, they are very special Christian folks who have a combined family of five children. They are both teachers in the same district where I work. They absolutely have a devine calling to love and foster multicultural children as well as their own. Uncle Lowell and I feel privileged to be prayers partners with you. We look forward to visiting Zoe when she joins the Treesh household. Love, Aunt Linda
Kelly and Ted, What a great web page! Amanda and I enjoyed the pictures of your family;) It's great that friends can follow your family through this journey. We'll be praying for you. My favorite section was the map of China and the question "Zoe michael, where are you? It almost made me cry. Take care. You'll be in our prayers. Love, Christy RCNKids@comcast.net
Recieved your e-mail via Dottie Carter,I will pray that God will sustain you through your wait for Zoe Michael. God works in ways that we can.t even imagine, We have four graandchildren and I love them more than fish love water. What a blessing children can be,Keep me posted this sounds like an adventure of a lifetime.Zoe will be richly blessed to have a family like yours Myrna Carter,Nicholasville,Ky.
My Dear Sweet Zoe Michael, I know I've been saying this for months but this just has to be the month that we see your sweet face for the first time. I really thought that we would be matched with you in August, but that did not happen, we missed the cutoff by three days. That's OK because we know that the Lord will make this happen in his perfect timing. I can tell you that it will be one amazing day when that call comes! Then, we will have to endure the wait until we can travel to China to bring you home to your forever family. You have an amazing family waiting here for you. Right now as I type this your Uncle Justin is here sitting at the table helping your big brother, Trevor, get his homework finished. Zoe, Uncle Justin is a really neat guy, I'm so blessed that he is my brother! I am blessed to have amazing brothers and sisters -- they all love the Lord and that means so much to me. God is so good! Your Daddy turns the big 40 later this month and maybe, just maybe his birthday present will be to see your face! I love you Zoe and just know, Mommy and Daddy are coming -- we haven't given up on the hope that was planted in our hearts by the Lord many many months ago! Love you! Mommy!
YAY..you are NEXT! Can't wait to see her beautiful face. I know the wait is hard. If you want to check out our blog it is at http://thegrowingwarehouse.blogspot.com/ Maybe that will occupy you for the next couple of weeks : ) You have a beautiful family and it is about to grow! Laura (Mama to Annslee JiaNa)
Time is counting and you have to be nervous. Hope your Referrial comes soon. Looking forward to good news and might see you in China. We are waiting TA ourselves and know the wait is so worth it when you finally get the photo and daughter's info.. Good luck and hang in. Denise, David and clan Journy of the Heart.
My Dear Sweet Zoe, The clock is ticking and it should only be a matter of days until we see your sweet little face for the first time. It's been 26 days since the last batch of referrals arrived. We're praying that by Monday we will have received "the call" that will change our lives forever. I have a clipboard with a list of questions to ask our social worker when she calls to tell us about you. I also have the video camera with me all the time in hopes that I can capture for you the moment that we learn about you. I'm also carrying around a map of China so I can see on the map where you've been living and waiting on your forever family. Nana and our sweet friend Sheri think that we may get the call tomorrow --we'll see. Only time will tell! :) I love you Zoe Michael!
Dear Zoe, Today I got a phone call from your mommy & finally got to hear about the sweet baby weve been praying for for so long. I was so excited to hear about you, but then this evening when I got to see your adorable face I too was overcome with emotion. What a DOLL you are!!!! I can't wait to kiss those sweet cheeks. God has matched you perfectly with your forever family. He is soooo good & faithful. Now he prepares the way home for you. I am praying for you & love you dearly. Aunt Jana

Kelly and family, Congratulations on your referral. We are so very happy for you about the referral of your Zoe Michael, and we cannot wait to see her beautiful face. Travis and I feel truly blessed that we were able to meet you and become friends as we travelled this journey together. God truly is wonderful is so many ways, and that can be seen in our friendship. We may not always understand the "valleys" that we may have to travel through, but those valleys make the "mountain peaks" of a journey so much more special. We have helped lift each other's spirits throughout this journey, and I cannot thank you enough for the gift of your friendship. Zoe Michael, you have an amazing family who loves you so very much. You are one lucky little girl. Love & Peace, Bailey & Travis :o) http://ladybug.komplexify.com
What a blessing for little Zoe to become a member of the Treesh family! I'm so happy for all 7 of you! Truly a match made in heaven - God bless you all - for your faithfulness, your perseverence, your love for every one of God's precious little ones. Love you all!!
What a wonderful experience this must be for you all. I can not wait to see her little face and hear the laughter that is always present in your home with her voice included. This must seem like an eternity to you all but once she is in your arms I am sure it will feel like she has always been there. Much Love, Deb and Roger

Blessed be the name of the Lord! He is faithful and just, and His timing is his own. Zoe looks like a baby angel, and I couldn't be more excited for you, your family, and Zoe. How amazing is the Father that He would choose a little girl in China and intertwine her life with her family in Ft. Myers! He truly is able to do "abundantly and exceedingly more than anything we could ask!" Bless you guys--Jessica Todd

Zoe, we finally have seen your sweet little face. What an amazing and exhausting week. We are so in love with you! When I saw your face for the first time my heart melted. Now my heart is happy to know who you are and where you are. We are so pleased to know that you have been with a foster mother since your birth. You look well cared for and very healthy. I know you are loved here and there. My heart aches for your birthmother. As much as I am sad for her I am happy and honored that the Lord has chosen us to be your forever family. I pray that our travel approval will come quickly and that we can schedule our trip to bring you home to your brothers and sisters. Your picture has been emailed all over the US to family and friends and I know that you are being lifted up in prayer every single day by many people. Thank you Lord for this wonderful gift of Zoe Michael. Until we hold you in our arms -- kisses in the wind Zoe. I love you! Mommy
Welcome, Miss Zoe, to the Colvill-Treesh-Rice family! We have waited so long for you to come, and the wait was so worth it all. The precious Lord chose the right little girl to bless us all. We know that you will be special. Your eyes are so bright and your look of anticipation will be fulfilled with delightful experiences, a loving family, and the guidance of the Lord. We anxiously await the big day when you will come home. Love you, Aunt Linda and Uncle Lowell
Ted and Kelly, Emotions just fill my heart and tears fill my eyes as I read of your journey, and SEE the evidence of God's grace in your lives. I know this process has taught you great patience. But God wants us to go through those times to fefine us, so we can become more like Him. Now, when trials come your way that require great patience, you can look back and remember HOW FAIHTFUL HE IS! And in turn you will be faithful to Him, and be able to bring God even more glory. Wow! God is SO good! And Zoe looks like a Treesh already! We love you guys, Dave & Christina Cooke

My Dear Sweet Zoe Michael, It's your Mommy again. We will be leaving for china THIS WEEK! I cannot tell you how excited we are to hold you and tell you how much you are loved. I have been busy packing. I have all of your things neatly packed in a suitcase that weighs 43 pounds! :) It can only weigh 44 pounds so I'm counting on you to eat ALL the snacks I'm bringing you. I need some space to bring home goodies for all our friends and family. Last night one of your big sisters, Emma, slept in your crib -- she likes to do that from time to time. She is very anxious for you to be home. Jacob, one of your big brothers, turned three last week. He already looks at your picture and says, "that's Zoe Michael, my little sister!" Trevor is also packed and ready to come to China. He's been making plans to see the great wall and many of the other places he's read about. Holly is staying here and is also getting ready for your arrival. Nana comes to Florida tomorrow to help me finalize everything for our journey. Zoe, I can't wait to introduce you to all of your family -- you have a big family because the members of our Sunday School class will also be your family. They have been prayer warriors and will be lifting us all in prayer over the next several weeks. I hope someday you read these notes and realize how much you mean to so many people. I have dreamt of meeting you my entire life and soon, my sweet daughter, you will be with your forever family. We know that the Lord planned for you to be ours -- even before we knew of you. We will meet you in eight days and it will be another defining moment in our lives. It will be as special as the day we met each of your siblings. There will be sweet tears of joy for us and probably tears of fear for you. But, I promise you that we will do everything in our power to comfort you and show you that we are the parents that the Lord has chosen for you. We will hold you and love you just as we did with all of your brothers and sisters. You, Fu Xiao Qiang are about to become a Treesh -- Oh, Lord help you! :) I've mentioned to you before how special your name is but I just have to share it with you again. Zoe, your Uncle Mick (Michael) went to Heaven sooner than any of us could have imagined. Mick just spent his second birthday with Jesus. He is missed so deeply by so many -- including all of us. I know he is doing well and Aunt Jana says he's probably building a house for his family. Well, it won't surprise me if when we get to Heaven if he has a house big enough for all of us. He told us all the time that we were his family and that he loved all of your brothers and sisters as if he were his own. He meant that Zoe, and he already loved you and even though he had never seen your sweet little face. He was the one that was THE most excited when we told him of our plans to adopt. He hand wrote a letter for your dossier just 10 days before he went to be with the Lord. I still have it and someday, I will share it with you. So, your name is VERY special and I know that Uncle Mick is probabaly on special assignment right now -- watching over you! :) Mick taught us so much and he taught your Daddy that it was OK to tell another man "I love you" -- your Daddy loved Mick very much. So, Zoe Michael, we are sad that Mick won't be there to greet you when we return to the United States but we are so thankful for his memory! I love you Zoe Michael, kisses in the wind.
Hi, My name is Jean and I will be traveling with my good friend Kate, who is adopting her daughter from China. We will be traveling on the same flight as you, from Newark to Beijing on Friday. There is one other family that I know of on the flight. We will probably see you at the airport! The excitement is almost unbearable! Safe Journey, Jean
Hello, my thoughts and prayers will be with you daily, as they have been since I met you. I will check in while you are gone so make sure you keep us up to date.. :) I can't wait to meet Zoe and watch her grow with her new FOREVER family. All my love, Carla
Well the time is here......FINALLY! *%*#^$@$#$* That's chinese for HURRAY!!! Seriously, we are thinking of you guys and so excited to watch your site and keep in touch as it all unfolds! I have been to Macau, China and Hong Kong (Of course) in the Navy. I never got to see the Great Wall...so I want a picture! Be careful over there .... we will keep you close in our prayers! We love you guys tremendously! Looking forward to roughing her up a little when she gets here! Joey, Bobbie, and Bailie
To my dear Zoe Michael....This is your favorite Auntie Elaine. You will just have to tell Aunt Kathy that she is second in line. Sorry Aunt Kathy! Your mommy finally came over last night and saved your website on my favorites. You'll know what that means some day. Well by then they will have some thing better than that. The truth is that I have waited so long to write you because it is difficult for me to say what is on my heart. I can't tell you how excited I am to see you. I hope your mommy lets me come to the airport when you come home. I am family you know! I know that every one is very excited to see you, but I can not even put into words how much it means to me to be apart of your life. Your mommy, daddy, brothers, and sisters mean the world to me. Don't tell them but you will probably be my favorite. It can be our secret. Your uncle Dave can't wait to hold you and see you. He looks mean, but don't worry he is so mushy on the inside. Chase, Cody, Madelin, Garrett, and Savannh all await your arrival and can't wait to throw you in the pool. Wath out though your brother Jacob likes to poop in the pool. Don't worry Savannah already made us sanitize it. Your pictures are all around our home and we can't wait to actually see you. God Bless, Your Favorite Auntie Elaine and the rest of the Hastings Family.
Ted and Kelly, I just wanted you guys to know that you are being prayed for even in Oklahoma. I pray for you every day and so does Angie. I know that Zoe Michael's life is on the verge of being changed for eternity. Not only will you give a beautiful loving home, but, more importantly you will raise her to love Jesus! God bless you on your journey and do not forget - the blessings coming to Zoe Michael are going to be multiplied to you. People will say she is the lucky one or blessed one, but, we know that you are truly the chosen and blessed ones for God placing this gift in your family. We can hardly wait to read your updates as you go. David and Angie Anderson 8822 S. 90th East Ave. Tulsa, OK 74133 918-286-1605 dhanderson@parkviewbaptist.org

The Titans are on a two game winning streak after scoring 24 unanswered points in the last 10 minutes against the Giants! It was an electric atmosphere in the stadium! Now, the Colts are coming to town. Hopefully they will be replaying that HORRID Directv commercial on a loop in the Titans locker room with Peyton lighting up the Titans Defense! Looks like you guys are having a blast. Congratulations, and we will see you soon! I am back to work now! Rob
Kelly and gang, Thank YOU for sharing this process with us. What a wonderful gift. You guys are amazing and inspiring. Carol STow Stapleton

Hey Guys, We can't stop checking on your progress every day. She is so amazingly beautiful - might even come close to Chloe' Beth. We love the picture of her playing with her Daddy and the cup while she is laughing. Also, the ones of Trevor at the Wal-Mart with the animals. We are so reminded of our trip to Vietnam and the public market in Hanoi. From someone who has been there we can relate to the smell (Ah, different cultures). What an amazing and diverse world God has put together and has now joined together with you and your daughter. We are still praying and watching. God Bless! - The Andersons

Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us...although it is really making it diffuclt to actually "work" in the morning, since I'd rather be checking your webiste! What an angel Zoe seems to be, just as cute as she can be. Wish I could be there to welcome you home...but I'll just have to save the hugs for another time! I'm just going to have to make the trip sooner rather than later. It is just so awesome to see a miracle unfold! Love to you all. -Joyce...your one and only jewelry mama!
Just found your website, awesome! Saw your note on the WHFC Yahoo site. Congratulations on receiving little Zoe! Abby and I were in Nanchang end of May to adopt our Mia, and took a trip that ran parallel to yours, down to the same hotels and visiting spots! We're living our journey again vicariously through yours, we miss China! I'll give you the blog address, but you'll probably have a hard time accessing it over there. In any event, congrats again. ZOE looks like such a happy girl........she truly looks like she is so happy you finally showed up! Man --- your site is just great! It's a lot of fun getting home every day and looking at her photo's and seeing all the places you took in for the day! Isn't it strange how our media's seem to separate our countries, but when you go there people seem so nice and are curious to meet an american.........not only do you stand out in a place like China, but you realize we are ALL part of the human race...GOD's PEOPLE! They are no different than us, just more confined by a government! I am so happy you all are enjoying the trip of a lifetime and your hosts are treating you well! Oh, and since your getting the girls tailored dresses, you should get the guys tailored SUMO outfits! --HA! Take Care! Love you guys! ****What country are we going to adopt from next....this is starting to become fun! Joey
Dear Kelly and Ted, We are so very EXCITED for you and have loved reading your day by day journal. Zoe Michael looks so sweet, and when Bill saw her picture on the website, he said, "Boy, she doesn't realize how lucky she is." I know how blessed you all feel, too. I'll keep tuned each day. I know Ron and Nancy are so anxious to get to meet Zoe and hold and hug her. What a sweet picture of Trevor holding Zoe on his lap in the van. She seemed perfectly content. Isn't technology just wonderful--to think that you're on the other side of the world and everyone can share in your wonderful journey. You are right--God is so good!! I'll be praying for you as you travel home. Take care, and God bless. Carolyn and Bill Hall
We have been following your journey and are so blessed to have you going before us. We can't wait to actually meet you and your beautiful new daughter Zoe. We hope to be picking up our daughter in December. Continued blessing to you. Fondly, Bob & Becky Morley soon to be parents of Ella Jane
Hi, We are enjoying seeing the pictures and reading your China Highlights each day. Zoe is so precious. She seems so content with you. I loved the picture of Trevor holding her looking out the train window. It has been emotional for us all but such a blessing for all the families. Zoe is going to always be special to our family. Our prayers are with you. Be safe and hurry home. Your Christian Family are all praying for you. Love, Hannah and Bill
Hi, We are enjoying the pictures and reading your message each day!! I loved the picture of Zoe and Trevor--He was holding her and they are both looking out the window. She is so precious and seems so content with all of you. Zoe Michael will always be "Special" to our family as each of you are. It has been very emotional for all of us just seeing her with you. I can only imagine the emotion you felt when you actually had her in your arms. Our prayers are for you to have safe travel and hurry home. Love, Hannah and Bill
ok..........so where are we going today??? I love being apart of this. Thanks for being the blessings in my days. I check the site ALOT hoping for more pictures or commentaries. Infact.....it has made me late more than once.;-)Thanks for sharing this with us. Even though I'm loving this I am ready for you to get home! So until we are together again & as one desperate mother has said before....I'm sending you kisses in the wind. Love & miss you all. Zoe's Aunt Jana (I love saying that:-)
Kelly & Family, Congratulations on your precious little Zoe. We've been back from China for a little over a week now with our precious Mylee and it all went by in a blur. Enjoy every minute for it truly is a once in a lifetime experience. Fellow July Dragonfly & Secret Pal, Valorie Reynon www.myadoptionwebsite.com/waitingformylee
Try the chicken congee. It's actually very good more like a thick chicken rice soup. All the babies in our group loved it and I have made it a few times at home for my daughter. Andrea
Auntie Kelly and Uncle Ted. We can't wait to squeeze Zoe. We get up every morning at about 6am and go through all the pictures and the new days events. Mometia came over yesterday and we showed her Zoe for the first time. She cried. She liked seeing all the pictures and we went through every day with her. Please come home soon. Love Cody and Savannh
KEL, you guys look so great. What a great fit. I feel like I can't write you enough. Jana and I are continuously late every morning. It has been great to be a part of the process and to live it with you. Thank you for taking the time through your journey to include us all. I know you guys are having a life time experience and we so appreciate you taking the time to keep us posted. I cry every day and I just love feeling like I am there with you. She is beautiful. I am so happy that Trevor is there with you, he will never forget it. He looks so happy in all the photos. If you have a favorite picture, I would like to make christmas cards for you. I want them to be ready for you when you come home, but I don't want to pick the photo. If there is a way you can let me know if you have a favorite, I will make Christmas cards for you. Lots of Love. Missing you....Elaine
Hi Kelly and Family! It's Amy G from Jacksonville. Zoe is gorgeous! I am so happy for you. Kelly don't worry 5 is a piece of cake! My kids have settled in great and it's like Isabella has always been here. God has blessed you yet again!! You'll still be crying when you get home so get used to it. To see how perfectly these girls have been chosen to fit into our families is amazing. I'll continue to pray for an easy trip and some western food! Blessings, Amy Gadapee
Hey guys! I am following your journey each day and it brings tears to my eyes each time! What an incredible adventure of a lifetime! The sights, the sounds, the smells (that outdoor toilet looked rough!), just everything that you are able to experience! I know Ted is ready for some Krispy Creme doughnuts with Hot and Now sign shining!! I know that you must be ready to unite your whole family together--Zoe is going to be so loved!! Take care and know that we are thinking of you and praying for you! Love you, Cheryl, Michael, Ashton, Jackson, Caylin and Logan Prillaman
Zoe is absolutely breathtaking. She fits right into your lovely family as if she has known you forever. You know you keep thanking everyone for going on this journey with you, instead I am thanking you for allowing us to follow along. Kelly, you are such an inspiration, even your written word is uplifting and hopeful and LOVING. May your days in China be blessed beyond compare. I would like it however if you would hurry up and get home so we can meet little Miss Zoe. From the very depths of my heart I am so happy for you and again I am so thankful that God made our paths cross. You are an extraordinary woman. Hugs and More Hugs. Your Friend, Carla

Hello from Connecticut!! I know you are missing home, but you are THERE with your baby! Enjoy every second. I know you are...I just had to say it. Feeling sad today as referrals came out and they were only thru 9/08 :( Our time will come. I know. Meantime I love following your story. Zoe is sooooo cute! Thank you for keeping all of us updated. Take good care!
Hello there ...... amazing to see the life ZOE could have "most likely" experienced there and to think the life WE ALL know she'll now have here! We truly do take so much for granted living in the U.S. ---- We all have it sooo good no matter what our status! Ted and Kelly you guys could totally write a AWESOME book with this journey....and photo's! Your narration has been just like a author! :o) Have a GREAT day........we are thinking of you all! Joey
Oh, I feel much better now. It is 9:00 p.m. and this is the first chance I've had today to check the website. I feel like your cyber-stalker. The first thing I do every morning is check the site, but today I did not have time. I thought I was going to have a complete meltdown if I did not get a Zoe fix soon. I'm obsessed, I look at your pictures several times a day. (Acknowledging you have a problem is the first step in recovery). Seriously though, we are totally missing you right now. Soak up every chance you get to hold her and cuddle her because there is a long line forming here to get ahold of her!!
Sorry, that last entry was from me, Candis. Nothing like having a stalker you can't identify!
Hi Kelly, I am Karen McCarthy. We came home Sept. 14th with our bundle of Joy (WHFC - China group 133). I am glad to have found your blog. I got very sick in China and did not do too much while there, so I am reliving my trip through you. Zoe is beautiful. Thank you for letting us share in your trip.
Let me just first say how excited and happy I am for you and your family! What an awesome journey God has chosen for you! I've kept up with your adoption process because my husband & I are adopting as well. We are also using Joe & Jennifer's website. As I was reading your journal entry & viewing the pictures of baby Zoe, I saw something in her eyes that was very encouraging....She feels safe! Now I know we all hate it when our little ones are sick, (especially when your miles from the comfort of home) but you and your husband have given something to Zoe through all these "sick moments".....Security! She is having to put her total Trust in two people whom she's never met before, to take care of her. Through this yall have proven to her that you Love her no matter What, and you will take care of her every need! What a Blessing you are to Zoe! And, what a Blessing Zoe is to your family! I know it's hard to thank God in times of sickness, but Thank Him today cause He has poured out His love on us everyday! I pray that Zoe gets better fast & that she learns to trust in yall, & through that you are showing her God's Love for us! May God continue to Bless you all! Love In His Name! Keisha Walker
Oh Kelly, how sad to see Zoe feeling so miserable. That had to be so scary not being in your own medical environment. Fortunately, we have connections with the Great Physician who is available anywhere, anytime!! We will be praying that Zoe continues to make a very speedy recovery. It looks as though she was starting to feel better in the evening. I hope that was truly the case. Cade and I spent time this morning looking at the pictures. I was showing him the Wal-Mart and village pics. I think he is pretty certain now that he is not really interested in visiting China anytime soon. He didn't think the cuisine looked too tasty, nor was he very excited about the squatty potty. Trying to instill a heart of thankfulness in a 5-yr-old is not always easy, so thanks for helping!! We are so incredibly blessed. Thanks so much for sharing and helping instill a heart of thankfulness in a 35-yr-old also! Now, enough already, COME HOME!! Love, Candis and the rest of the Daugherty Gang!
Hi Ted & Kelly, I have so enjoyed reading about your amazing journey and looking at the beautiful pictures! Zoe is absolutely precious, and I'm sure you're thinking that she was well worth the long wait! I will continue to pray for your family as you welcome Zoe and get to know her - what an absolute joy! God has done an incredible thing in the life of your family, and you'll experience blessings from this for many years to come! Much love, Tammy Goodwin
Poor little peanut! She's going through so much right now that her little body is probably just worn out! I do hope she feels better real soon! Darin
Kelly, I hope Zoe is feeling better. The pictures are unbelievable, you are doing a fantastic job documenting everything. Thinking of you and your family and hoping for speedy recover for little Zoe. All the best, Stacy
Zoe is so beautiful!! I can not wait to baby sit her =) You have an amazing family, Ms. Kelly, I've fallen in love with you all. Even Zoe!! I can't stop crying, Matt's making fun of me. He says hi by the way. I'm so glad Zoe is coming home soon! I've been praying for you guys! Give her a kiss for me! Love you all - Kendra and Matt
I am following your journey while watching friends of mine who are also in China adopting a little girl. I have prayed for your sweet little baby today and hope she is feeling better tomorrow!
Praise God Zoe is feeling better! Thanks, Ted, for FINALLY getting to a Zoe update at the END of your entry. I'm sorry, we are not interested in your massage! :) I am glad you finally found Trevor some decent food (you did share SOME of that chicken with Trevor, didn't you Ted?) Praying you had a good trip back to Guang...whatever. Impatiently waiting for your return, Candis and the Daugherty Gang
Thank goodness Zoe is feeling better! I can't wait for you guys to come home! I want to see that gorgeous baby!! Love you guys - Kendra
GREAT PIC's again today as always! One step closer to home! Take care JF
Little sweet Zoe, I hope you know just how much you are loved... you really do have an amazing family. Emma already tells me stories about you, how your favorite color is purple, and your favorite show is Dora just like hers. =) Your mommy and daddy are going to spoil you rotten!! I can't wait to finally hold you and see your precious smile that already melts my heart.. I've been praying for you since your mommy first told me about you a long time ago. I can't wait to see you, Zoe. I love you, Kendra
Tell Ted I think I got it now! Love you, Elaine
Tell Wendy she looks great in your pictures! We're following your journey with Zoe which paralleled ours. Amazing! You're almost home, enjoy every moment, and again, congratulations! Abby and Michael Kaminsky Lexington, MA (Mia Annabelle Yu Dou Kaminsky Nanchang, May 25, 2006)
Kelly and family, I have thoroughly enjoyed following your journey. Your family is beautiful and Zoe seems to fit perfectly. Here's to a safe trip home. Best wishes and Blessings, Jacque (aka..jfk)
Dearest Little Zoe Michael, OK, I guess I need to explain why I am Favorite Aunt Kathy so Aunt Elaine won't be trying to steal my title. It all started a long time ago when Nana was pregnant for your Mommie and Aunt Shelly. Everyone even the Doctor said that Nana was having a big baby but I told Nana that she was having twins. I just knew it in my heart. Well, I was right and sure enough Nana went to the hospital to have her baby she got two! I was a senior in high school and the day the twins were born I was at an after school function. Everyone else was at the hospital waiting and the delivery happened shortly before I was to be picked up from the school. Well, you guessed it I was left there waiting for hours. Sometime after the delivery and after the excitment of twins being born Grandpa Lee remembered I was still at school. I did make it home sometime that night but all I wanted to do was go see the twins. It was too late and to make matters worse I had to wait until the next day. Well, I was hoping since I was the one that said she was having twins and I was the one that got forgotten at school half the night, that maybe the twins would grow up and look like me. No such luck, they look like each other. So I decided that I should be Favorite Aunt Kathy after all it was my prediction, so I dubbed myself with the title. I believe that Mommie and Aunt Shelly were about six or so when they realized that my first name wasn't Favorite. When Mommie and Aunt Shelly grew up and started having their own babies I thought maybe they would have a baby that looked like me. Well Holly looks like your Mommie, Trevor looked like Papaw Price, Emma looks like your Mommie, and Jacob looks just like your Daddy, and you look like Dr. Yang. So far I'm not doing too well with any of your siblings or your cousins either. Erin and Betsy look like Aunt Shelly and Uncle Rob. Alex and Lee look like Aunt Jo Jo and Uncle Dan. Alaina, Austin, Ashton, Amelia look like Uncle Dallas, Aunt Cassie, and Nana. Now how fair it that! So after all these years all I have is my title of FAVORITE AUNT KATHY. So, my little Zoe Michael, hurry home so I can hold you and whisper secrets in your ear. I promise to love you for the rest of your life. Love, Favorite Aunt Kathy p.s. I'm Nana's favorite sister too!!!!
Hello Treeshes, Congratulations. Zoe is absolutely beautiful. I am so very happy for you. Your family is truly blessed. I cannot wait to see more photos of the gorgeous new addition to your family. By the way, I just sent you an e-mail with some information. Hugs, The Kowalskis
Someone's slacking over there. It's 9:05 am here and I am at my computer for my morning Zoe fix. Where are my update and pictures?! Just because you're about to come home doesn't mean you can stop sending updates. I need some Zoe now!!! Love, Candis
Okay, I found my pictures, I'm a little better now. But you're still slacking on the details. I need information - even if it is about Ted's massage and speedo! Love ya! Candis
It's 11:36 and I just got your update. Thank you very much -- I told you I was your web-stalker. I'll leave you alone now. Candis
Hi everyone. I had a couple of days to catch up on, I am glad to hear that Zoe is feeling better. Ted, although I have not met you yet, you are hilarious!! :) I enjoyed reading your posts too. Take care everyone. Hugs are waiting in Florida for you. Love Carla
Ted and Kelly, What an incredible journey you are continuing to have. Sorry I have not left any more encouragements, but, we had 10 inches of snow in Tulsa this last week. I still got up every morning and checked on Zoe Michael before Chloe' Beth pulled me out to the make snowmen, go sledding, etc. What a week. It sounds like Ted and Trevor are having a ball and really getting to know the newest Treesh. Trevor looks like he is being a GREAT big brother (I knew he had it in him - he is an awesome kid). Anyway, we are still praying for you and can hardly wait to see when you finally arrive back home. Keep your chins up and keep that smile going. You all look incredible! -The Andersons
Hey Kelly, I'm still following along, and can't believe your journey is nearly at an end. I noticed the feather "hackey sack" type thing that Trevor has, is he getting pretty good with it? My kids played badmitton like pros by the time we left the island (so did my husband, for that matter). Hey, what's with the two Barbie dolls? We had three rooms, but only got one doll. No fair! Did you check out Barbie's outfit and SHOES??!?? Yeah, that's exactly how I looked when I was "coming home" with Katie! Mattel used me as a model. If you get to Peter's Place (which is in the Arts & Crafts building on the park), or his other place "the Shop on the Stairs", tell him and his sister and wife that we said "hi" (you might need to remind him that we brought our three tall sons with us on our trip). If you're going to have Zoe's picture painted on the inside of the bottle, Peter's your man. He did an incredible job with Katie's bottle. Also, don't forget to visit Michael's Place (behind Lucy's, on the river) and Jordan's Place, as they were the (in my humble opinion) best places to shop without getting harassed by sales people. I never felt ripped off when I did business with the three of them. Okay, enough already...old habits die hard, I guess. I was wordy when I was in China, I'm wordy now. Zoe looks wonderful, you look radiant, you all look happy. What a wonderful Christmas you're going to have! Enjoy China! Kelly in Michigan
Is it possible that she gets cuter by the day?? You are soooo close to coming home and I am so sure that you cannot wait!! I cannot believe that you are in China still! (seems like you were just waiting for your referral!) If you see any CCAA people, feel free to tell them that the nice people in your Agency with a 10/28 LID - really really want their baby, so if they can do all they can to speed up, that'd be great. LOL!! (little humor for ya!!) Enjoy your last few days.
I just send you another e-mail with the information that you said you didn't receive. Hope this one makes it to you. Let me know. Peace Always and hugs, Bailey :o)
Trevor, I can't get over what a great big brother you are to Zoe! Ms. Kelly, I'm glad Zoe likes noddles because that's pretty much all I can make when I'm at your house with my wonderful cooking skills!! =) You know how talented I am when it comes to cooking... not. Watching you guys go through this whole process makes me want to adopt some day. I always have wanted to do it since the eighth grade, but now I know I have to. I can't wait to see that adorable smile of Zoe's in person! I miss you guys! Love you - Kendra
Hi Ted, Kelly, Rhonda and Trevor, I just wanted to let you know that I finally had time to view all the website and I have been laughing and crying as I followed along on your travels. We have been praying for you and I am in awe as I read how the Lord has been answering all the prayers that have been going up to Him for months! You are right---God is so Good! I have had several people from our church ask how things are going so when I am done here I will be sending out the email updates. I have not been able to get to a computer the last several days as we had a major snow and ice storm hit Missouri and Illinois on Nov. 30th. About 1/3 of the people in our church lost power and only some have gotten it back. We had our pastor, his wife and her mother staying with us but Jim was finally able to get them a generator so that they could return home. We loved having them here but I know there is no place like home! We all look forward to getting to meet Zoe and welcoming her into the family! Love to you all---Jim, Candy and Denise
WHAT! How dare you even mention the possibility of not posting an update because you might get in late. What would I do in the morning without being able to check on the Treesh's? In fact, I was hoping that you would continue to do updates, at least weekly, for the rest of Zoe Michael's life. Especially for those of us that do not live in Florida anymore. I love the close up picture of Ted holding Zoe. What a cutie, and Zoe is not bad looking either!?!? Kelly, I also feel your heart about going back. It has been my dream to adopt once more from Asia. In fact, with one child from Korea and one from Vietnam I think we are just missing out on China. Anyway, I think it is just my love for my children and their birth culture that draws me back. Have a great trip HOME and know that we are praying for you every day. The Andersons
Can't wait to see you guys......and meet ZOE! It has been fun NO DOUBT! Barry and I really enjoyed the journey.......glad you guys had to do all the work! Whew! I know I am exhausted just watching you guys through photo's~! Take care ..... counting the days! JF

As our friends leave China and fly home with their new daughter, I wanted to wish your family a safe journey as well, I have followed Zoe's journey along with our friend's, prayed for her when she was ill, and just want to wish you a wonderful life together, I have enjoyed the extra bonus of watching the joy in your family as we watched Kristin join with hers. God bless you all as you reunite and go together into your future!
Zoe is so gorgeous! I have enjoyed following your journey and hope to meet you and Zoe sometime in the future. BTW- I love the noodle picture! Too cute. We have a similar one of Sydney shoveling noodles into her mouth. Heather and Sydney Shu

Hey Guys! I just got your update and was reading through your guestbook. I haven't left an entry for a couple of days!! I guess now I'm the one dropping the ball. Anyway, I am beyond excited that you are almost home. I will be praying for your safe return and an easy flight. I hate to hear that you are not feeling well, Kelly. I'll be praying for that as well!! Love you all! Candis
Praying you all the way home!!!!!!!!!!! Love you!!! Jana
Thank you and best wishes with your daughter. God has truely blessed your family and Zoe. What an amazing change Zoe has gone through in such a short time. I know you will be amazed when you have a chance to go through your journey and relive each experience. It has blessed my family and has help us through our wait and has let us know what to expect/ look forward to when we travel in a few weeks. It was your site that has shown us how dropshots is so useful and how our family can truely get what they want out of out trip to China-- more photos of our daughter. Take care and look forward to seeing Zoe blossom even more with rest of your family to help love her. Let us know your experiences with her at church, if you get to hold her that is. God bless you all and thank you again for allowing us to follow along.. David and Denise Journey of the heart! is our site
Wishing you and the entire WHFC group a safe and uneventful journey home!!! Stacy
It is nearly unbelievable to think that, as I write this, you are already on your way home. What an incredible future God has planned out for Zoe and the entire Treesh family. We love you guys and are grateful for allowing us to share in Zoe's trip home. -The Andersons
Welcome Home!!!! It is a great feeling to be back home but a little sad as your leaving China. Ron, Andrea, and Alayna Grace
WELCOME HOME!!!!! Now get some rest and bring that little angel to church on Sunday! Joey
Wow! God is so amazing! If your flight is still on time, you should be landing about thirty minutes from now! I'm so excited for you guys to be home! Love - Kendra
Dear family, We trust you're home safe and sound. Thank you for letting us share your journey with you. Congratulations on little Zoe! We followed your trip from start to finish, much as so many had followed ours back in May. Now we understand why people were so interested. Even having been through everything you went through, we were still in awe. We hope your little girl (and rest of the family) continues to flourish! Wait until you see the amazing changes Zoe goes through! We are constantly amazed by our Mia, and how fast she makes progress. Thank goodness for her big brother, the siblings are amazing positive influences to be sure! Get some sleep too! If it's any consolation it took me (Michael) 11 days to get back to normal...the first day I felt fine, but by the third, I felt like someone had hit me over the head! Best of luck, again! I just looked at your journey website and loved it! I think we might have met at CNY at the park last year (?). Anyway, LiLi and I are ready for a playdate whenever you guys recover. Your journal is beautiful - isn't God good? I look at our little angel everyday and wonder how He could look at us with such favor. Best, Debi Linne Ft Myers FCC

Happy 1st Birthday Zoe! I'm so excited to have you as my new niece. I was honored to be a part of bringing you home to the U.S. and your new family and I will never forget my adventure to China. You are a very special little girl, and one day you will understand how much you were wanted and needed in our family. I love you Zoe Michael. -- Love Aunt Rho Rho
Dearest Zoe - Where to start. You have the most precious gift ever given to any human being; the gift of being blessed with a wonderful loving family. You definately are a lucky little girl. I grew up with your daddy and your aunt Rhonda in Indiana our families went to South Meridian Church of God and also met your mommy there. I just wanted to write you to let you know when you look back on your life and wonder why things happen they way they do, you will certainly know that the Lord works in mysterious ways and blesses us with the greatest gift of all..love. And your family and extended family certainly display that meaning. I was so happy to have had the opportunity like everyone else to follow the journey of your adoption; this journey took me back almost 40 yrs ago when my family adopted me from S Korea. Want to know something funny; I was also adopted when my mommy and daddy had 4 children of their own,I was the 5th child and I was also a year old. Psst.. my birthday is Dec 26th. :) So with those little similarities; you held and hold a very special place in my heart for not ever having met you. You are a beautiful little girl Zoe! I pray that the Lord watches over you and protects you always. My continued prayers and thoughts will always be with you. Always remember that the Lord is with you; through the good times and bad. And that your family will love you no matter what decisions you make in life. Love you little one. Mindy (Whitesel) Weaver

Why did God choose YOU among the thousands who need a home? I do not know. But He did! He has a beautiful plan and purpose for your life. I hope that your mom will keep the Prayer Ministry updated periodically as you grow and develop to be the person that God has intended you to be. He has placed you in a godly home with parents and brothers & sisters who love you so much!! We love you, too, in the Prayer Ministry. We will continue to pray for you!! Welcome Home, little princess! With love and prayers MIKE
Dear Ted and Kelly, What a beautiful little girl!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is precious! Our Rebecca came home first then 3 1/2 years later, Elizabeth came home. They were 8 mos and 6 mo. I slept on the floor with them in my arms the first night. They were scared of the bed. The orphanage where Elizabeth was in Korea looked like the ones in China, except the ones in Korea had thin pads and sheets on the bottom of the crib. I couldn't believe the bare wood that Zoe and the other babies slept on. People in Korea sleep on the floor but usually have a rice mat or something underneath them. Please keep us updated with pictures. You have a beautiful family...God's beautiful blend! In His Love, Beverly Draper Premier Designs Prayer Ministry
Hello Kelly, Ted, Trevor and Zoe. This is Greg, Lisa and Port St. Lucie Zoe from China 134 stopping in to say hello! It is great to hear that you are all doing so well. Please send our best to Rhonda. Hopefully we'll be able to meet one day and catch up on all the goings on. Our best from South Florida. (East Coasters)
Hi I enjoyed reading your journal. Your dtr. is beautiful as well as your family. My husband and I returned from China Nov 06 with twin girls from the same province as your dtr. Our twins, Lianna and Lyndsey were born December 29, 2005. I was wondering who Zoe's foster mom was? I also noticed you live in Florida. We live south of Tampa. Anyway, just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your journal. Hamsher11@aol.com
