WE
ARE HOME
We made it home early Sunday evening. The flight and all
the travel hoops were beyond exhausting. (I remembered
half way through the flight home why I said last time I
was never going to China again!) Drew and Luke never slept
at the same time on the flights so that made for one very
tired mommy by the time we got home. We were met by a huge
group of our family and friends. It was so wonderful to
see everyone after such a long time away. All 3 of the
girls grew while I was gone and they all looked older. We
came home to a nice pizza party, cake and family and
friends. It does not get much better.
Drew took to Matt and the girls right away. He has blended
into the family beautifully. The five kids are having a
good time together. Really, it is like he has always been
here. Drew is doing a good job eating...he even ate pot
roast! Luke, Drew and I are still pretty jet lagged, but
it is getting better every day.
I came home to the wonderful surprise of a door and wall
added to our loft bedroom. Thanks to my dear husband Matt,
father-in-law, father, uncle Jerry, my brother and lots of
other folks who made it a reality. We now have a bedroom
with a door that closes! Yipeee!!
Thanks so much for following our journey and for all your
prayers. I'll be back to regular blogging soon at
joyfullybusy.blogspot.com.
Philippians 4: 6-8 “Do not be anxious about anything, but
in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and
your minds in Christ Jesus.”
