May 7, 2006 – Notice in our church bulletin about an adoption meeting

May 20, 2006 – Attended adoption meeting and decided to adopt a daughter from China

May 31, 2006 – First meeting with Social Worker. The paper chase has officially began

July 7, 2006 – Nancy and the boys apply for a passport

August 3, 2006 – Adoption packet sent to USCIS for approval

August 17, 2006 – Original Documents sent to be sealed

August 28, 2006 & September 6, 2006 – FBI Fingerprinting

September 22, 2006 – We received our I-171H letter today

October 6, 2006 – Sent documents to Chicago for Great Seal

October 18, 2006 – Dossier sent to China

December 28, 2006 – Received notification of our LID – 11-15-06

March 5, 2007 – Brown Letter Day

April 8, 2008 – Refingerprinted and Reapply for I-171H letter

February 26, 2009 – Started Looking into the Special Needs Program

February 28, 2009 – Received file to review

March 1, 2009 – Accepted file and sent in our Letter of Intent

March 13, 2009 – Received Pre-Approval
