We have been Blessed!

It's really hard to start this post out because there are no words to describe what an angel we have been given.

Audrey has been home for a little over 2 months now and continues to thrive with no problems adjusting at all. I am amazed with the way she fits into our family. No one could have told me the transition would be so easy. Audrey has a wonderful personality and sense of humor. She wakes up with a smile and when I lay her down at night in her crib, I brush her hair with my hand and she falls right to sleep, although, I do admit that I sometimes hold her until she drifts off. We have the video monitor so I can see her all the time. She has yet to wake up during the night, what more could a mom ask for.

Along with great sleeping habits, Audrey started walking the first of May and hasn't slowed down since. She says Mama, Dada, Ryan, Cody, Papaw, Momaw, bye-bye and hi! She is trying hard to say "love you". She weighs around 24 lbs, and will eat anything you give her! She is not picky at all and I am thankful for that. Music is her thing! Both the boys could tell you the words to just about any song, even the 70's and 80's stuff, but this girl is all about the music. She tries her best to sing and dance when she even hears a cell phone ring.

On May 16th we officially re-adopted her in the state of Tennessee. Since I was the only parent who traveled, it was necessary to do this. We have since received her Tennessee birth certificate with Anthony and I as her Mother and Father. We are so proud to be her parents!

Cody graduated high school on May 24th, and will be going to college this fall. I already miss him. Ryan is staying busy with camps, bible school, baseball and friends. He was very excited to attend UT's Bruce Pearl Basket Ball camp this summer. Audrey will continue to melt everyone's heart she comes in contact with.

We are so proud of all our children and love what each one has to offer and give of themselves. They are all truly unique and so very special not only to us but to God as well and again I say, We are so Blessed!

This will be our last post on myadoptionwebsite. We have a blog that I will continue to update.

Thanks to everyone who has touch our lives through this amazing journey with their kind words or just a prayer for our family. You will never know how much that has meant to us.
And a special "Thank You" to Joe and Jennifer who manage this amazing site. You are both great!
