Sara Beth and I visited your site today. We can hardly wait until tomorrow to hear about the first time you held Hannah. I remember the first time I held Becky. Yesterday Sara Beth and I went to the Strawberry festival and saw Steven Curtis Chapman-we really enjoyed his comments regarding his three girls from China. Sara Beth says I must write "She's a cutie, she's a cutie." Pam, you looked pretty rough on that flight and I am not a bit surprised that God had a purpose for you on the plane with the woman you met. Pam, Linda said you had emailed me regarding a mongolian spot. I didn't the email, but mongolian spots are common in darker skinned babies. they are usually dark grey to black in color, and usually along the spine, hips, buttocks, low back, and occassionally on the back of the shoulders. they go away slowly on their own, but can be confused with abuse. recheck the color of the spots in 48 hours - if they haven't changed to green/brown/ or yellow, then they are nothing to worry about. Hi it's me again [Moe, Donna's sister]: I was just talking to one of the attorneys I work with who has done the same thing as you guys. They adopted their daughter Eva about 10 years ago. He suggested that when you get to the White Swan Hotel that you have a drink, at sunset, in the first floor lounge looking out at the river. Spectacular sight!!!! Enjoy and have one for me! too.

Hi Burke's We made it to & from the wedding safely. It was beautiful! You will get a chance to see the pictures. Sounds like Hannah is on her way to being an All American girl. Boy Jeff, you have your work cut out for you. Keeping boys away from Kristin now and about 15 yrs. from now from Hannah! Matt and Joe are really getting excited about ya'll coming home. We had supper with them Sunday night. Matt was so sweet helping Mom(Aunt Jo) to the car. Pam, I know you were limited to the amount of luggage you could take and from the pictures you used 1/2 of that amount on Hannah! Thanks Jeff for featuring a different family. Hi to all! I don't have words to express how much I enjoy logging on and following Hannah's Journey. I think you are writing a best seller! I love looking at all of the pictures. (Jeff, thank you for explaining to all of us what a Chic Magnet is.) Yeah, Brenda I saw that same man with the blue bunny on CNN! You're right, it looked just like Jeff. I can't wait for the next update. I hope you will continue to update us after you are back home. My only problem is...I'm disappointed when you finish. Like a good book you can't put down. Hello Burke's, I'm glad to hear that Pam is doing her motherly duty teaching Hannah that you are not a real girl unless you shop. Now Kristin it's your turn to teach her how to get what she wants on those shopping trips! It is obvious that Hannah is the prettiest, smartest and demands you pay attention to her. This is kristin...i must say that this trip has definitely been one of a kind! Hannah has been more than what we ever dreamed of her to be...and it's hard to remember what life was like without her in it! She is so precious and you all will fall in love with her the moment you meet her. We can't wait to be home with all of yall! Pray for us... the flight is long and miserable. I heard she has already pick up one of her granmother's habits. When she spots a camera she poses and smiles! I won't say which grandma but her initials are LRS. I can't wait to see her in person. I think our little hannah if starting to know that i am one of her grandmas'. We love her very much and i can't wait for her and kaitlyn {her little cousin) to start playing together. it will be interesting to watch. I finally got to hold Hannah for a couple of minutes today! I love her so much I just wanted to squeeze her but I exercised restraint. Don't be jealous Brenda (Ha!) your time will come. hannah is adjusting very well, and she loves her grandma linda already, of course i go over to see her eveyday and we play. the way to her heart is food and play. what a joy she is. yes brenda, i do have three beautiful grand daughters and three beautiful grand sons. god has blessed me. thanks again to all my family for your support and love.

Hannah is the cutest little baby in the world...(besides baby kaitlyn of course...lol.) I am the luckiest sister ever to be able to spend every chance i get playing with her and teaching her new things. "Our thing" is this little game we play... I will hold her stuffed animal (or whatever she hands me) and I will pat it and say "awww". Well, now Hannah will pat herself on her shoulder and say, "awww". IT'S SO CUTE! And she does it whenever we are playing. I love her so much and am blessed to be such a big part of her life. hugs and kisses... Kristin (big sis)

Hello from Live Oak! Pam, Thank you so much for bringing Hannah to see her great-aunt Jo.(and Aunt Brenda. That's right Sheila.. I finally got to hold Hannah and she let me know right away that she is a Suwannee County girl!) Hannah is a living doll. She really put on a good show for us. She knows what she likes. I had two outfits for her. She took the first one out of the bag and carried it around saying ooohhh!!! We gave her the second one and she promptly shook her head no and gave it right back to me. Watch out...she's a girl in the know. Pam and Jeff are going to do one more update and then it is up to us to stay in contact with Hannah. Dear Burke Family. After reading your website about Hannah and your visit to China I just had to write. Our Daughter, Son-in-law and their oldest child are in China as we write this to bring home their baby daughter named Chloe Reese. You can read their website as well and meet them. I laughed and laughed at Jeff when he would tell us some funny things. What a great blessing to see all these beautiful Children come to Christian families here in the United States.
