Sorry to all you "addicted fans" of our site! We have been
getting fussed
at for not posting sooner! We have been settling in and getting
back on
Tennessee time!
We received a wonderful welcome from family and friends when we
arrived
back in Nashville on Dec. 27. About 30 people were at the
airport to
greet us! They looked so good! We were SO glad to be here! Our
flights
went fairly well except for the 5 hr. flight from LA to Atlanta.
Leah was
quite fussy - to the irritation of a lot of other passengers!
It took about 4 days to really adjust back to the time
difference. Leah,
Logan and I spent a few nights "playing" at 3:00 a.m. because
they felt
like it was daytime! But now we are all sleeping through the
night (even
Leah, for the most part). She seems to like her bed and her room
and will
lay down with no trouble for naps and sleep (again, for the most
part).
She loves our dog, Annie, who has been so sweet and gentle with
her! Leah
just squeals when she sees her!
Leah had a good report from the doctor here in Nashville last
week. She
still weighs 15 lbs. but he said he expects her to make big
strides in the
next two months as far as development goes! She is practicing
"standing"
by the couch and can now feed herself a little bit! We fall in
love with
her a little more each day! And Logan can't wait to show her off
to his
class at "show and tell!"
We will now begin giving monthly updates instead of more
frequent ones!
We look forward to showing you how much Leah grows! |
