Hey all, we are posting a little earlier today as we have some
free
time before lunch (10 minutes:)
I don't know if I can ever post as well as Julianne did last
night.
She said exactly what we were all feeling and I teared up when I
read
it.
We are so overwhelmed with God's goodness to us with Madeline.
She is
sitting on the floor right now playing with stacking cups and
and
talking to herself. God answered every prayer I prayed for her.
She
is right on target for her age and we are in amazement as we
were so
prepared for her to be delayed. She is sitting up, crawling,
saying
da-da: I could go on and on. We are so in love and she could not
be
any more precious than she is.
This morning we did all the necessary paperwork for China and
she is
now officially ours forever. What an emotional moment!!
Julianne and John David are doing great. We had to bribe John
David
this morning to behave during our interviews by telling him we'd
buy
him something at Walmart this afternoon, and yes there is a
Walmart
in China!
We just finished lunch and all the waitresses were all fussing
over
Madeline. She is eating well and is just so sweet. I just gave
her a
bottle and she started rubbing her eyes and is sound asleep.
We miss everyone back home and have so enjoyed your comments
made on
our guestbook, they are so sweet and encouraging.
Gardner, I don't have a weird food picture today but Julianne
saw
sour pepper jellyfish tentacles at the breakfast bar:( Hopefully
they
will be there again in the morning and I'll send you a pic!!!
