Sunday, November 11, 2007 I went for a run again this morning. I initially claimed that I had over a 50% chance of being killed each time I go out for a run. I’ve been known to exaggerate, so I’ve given it a lot of consideration. Applying science and statistical analysis I came up with the following: For a 10k run (though we are still Christian we have converted to Metric while over here) one has a 30% chance of being killed, a 35% chance of being significantly injured (by a scooter or slow car), and about a 35% chance of making it back in one piece. That explains why there are no runners over here – over time they are all killed or disabled. Ok now it is Paige and I’m not nearly as entertaining as Hank :) We went to the Chen Family Temple and to the Guangzhou Park . We all agree that all of our tours are starting to run together and we don’t really remember anything, it’s more of the same. The Chinese would be so disappointed in us Americans!!! We are now back at the room for Madeline to get a nap, which did not last long. Bless her heart, she got upset when I layed her down and had her first total meltdown. It was so so sad. We love her as our own but she does not really know us yet and I just was not able to figure out what she wanted me to do. So of course I ended up crying with her. She finally calmed down when I sang to her and she feel asleep. We are so different to her. She has lost all that she has ever known, it is really sad seeing her so upset. She is now up and playing and her happy self again) Ok I just accidentally deleted part of my post and I don’t even remember what I said since it was some of the same as I did yesterday that I lost too, I guess you all won’t find out anything about Guangzhou :) We’re going to check out the hotel now and we’ll post more tomorrow. Gardner, we didn’t get a good food pic today so I sent the one of the Chen Temple . We are trying to copy what we think you would take and you can photo shop it later :) We love and miss you all!!! Madeline has just smashed goldfish everywhere but she is happy!
