Our Family
|
Lauren –
Lauren is finishing up her 2nd year at Montreat College in
Black Mountain, NC. She has had a busy year. She worked at
Camp Merri-Mac last summer. She became a “WFR” (Wilderness
First Responder), is training to be a white water rafting
guide, while also taking a full load of classes. She is
getting ready to go on a 1 month cross-country bus tour of
National Parks. Sounds fun – only if you’re 19, right? We
really miss her.
Autumn –
Is a SENIOR! She is busy with prom and graduation. She is
president of the Central Spirit Committee, is in Honor
Choir, Harmony vocal group, and is working as a hostess at
the Marriott restaurant. We don’t get to see much of her
either. She is excited about attending Charleston Southern
University this fall where she hopes to be accepted into
the nursing program.
Christian –
Christian is finishing his Junior year of high school and
is excited about being a Senior next year. He had a great
Junior year playing football, getting his driver’s
license, and becoming the proud owner of a CAR! He is
wrestling now and working a lot at Ruby Tuesday’s. It is
going to feel really strange having just one teen around
here next year.

Matthew -
Is in the Mom’s Morning Out pre-school program at
Edwards Road Baptist Church. He goes 3 mornings a
week and loves it. He has matured so much this past
year. He is very much a “little boy” now and not a
toddler. He loves being outside helping Dad in the
yard, climbing trees, and riding his bike. He still
has the most contagious laugh ever. |

Abbie-
Abbie is definitely the princess. She is a
sweetheart, but she is drama personified. She is a
“girlie” girl and loves having sister paint her
nails and playing dress up. She goes back to
Shriners Hospital in June for a yearly check-up, but
if you have met Abbie you know her prosthetic is
just a part of who she is – not “who” she is. She
does anything she wants to do and keeps up with her
siblings easily.

Andrew
-
Andrew is our BOY! He is all boy. Anything and
everything in every way BOY! He laughs with his
entire face and loves making people laugh. He makes
the funniest faces. Andrew likes to be Abbie’s
“puppy or baby”, which suits Abbie just fine. He is
also at Edwards Road Baptist Church or Mom’s Day Out
and is doing very well. He will have additional
surgery this summer to repair his palate. |
