Lisa, Sean, Emma and Cora-Li,

CONGRATS to mom, dad and new big-sister!  Everyone looks so happy.  Faith is a wonderful thing, even through the many days of frustration at all the red-tape, you all persevered and look how everything turned out!

Lisa....enjoy every moment with your daughters!  I can honestly say that life as a mother is the most difficult, but most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life.  All the sorrows, pains and stresses experienced w/our children are so minute compared to the laughter, joy, pride and love they offer to us every day of our lives.

We miss you here at HST...but know that you are w/your family and there is no greater reward in life, but to share time with the ones you love!!

Best of everything to all of the Moyer family,

Beth

Congratulations and best wishes for the wonderment that lies ahead for all of you!  Your family is BEAUTIFUL.
It was an honor to be invited to celebrate your home coming.

Find additional joy in the following from Matthew 18:4,5:

When the disciples asked Jesus 'Which of us is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?' part of his reply was
'Anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me.'

Cindy

Greetings Lisa, Sean, Emma and Cora-Li.

Lisa, I neglected to wish you a "Happy Mother's Day" and would like to share with you the words of a song that Dale, along with the rest of the youth choir, sang on Mother's Day. It was written by a friend of mine from church, who is a mother of 9, and then put to music by her oldest daughter who is a music teacher. This daughter also added the last verse as a surprise for her mother. Happy belated Mother's Day! I hope this is an encouragement to you.

With love to you all,
JILL

STAND IN THE GAP
By: Maribeth Spangenberg (written ©1/17/06)

Stand in the gap, Dear Mother!
Stand in the gap and pray!
Put on your warrior’s armor.
Be ready both night and day.

Prepare yourself for the battle,
When that baby is placed in your arms.
They’ll be war for your child’s salvation,
Needing prayer to keep him from harm.

For your precious gift is traveling,
From birth to eternity’s door.
The way is marred with briars,
As Satan’s arrows soar.

This world is not friendly to Christians.
For Satan is roaming free,
To deter the way of our children,
From heading towards Calvary’s Tree.

Do not allow adversity,
To marr your desire to stand.
You are your child’s prayer warrior,
To defeat the evil at hand.

Our God in Heaven’s equipped you,
With a heart that is flowing with love,
For the precious, dear gift that He’s giv’n
To raise for His Glory above.

So stand in the gap, Dear Mother,
And hold your shield high.
God hears the prayers you’re uttering.

He honors a Mom’s battle cry!

Stand in the gap. Oh, stand for me mother.
Stand in the gap and pray.
Then when we die and I meet you in heaven,
I'll say thanks, Mom, for praying for me.
I'll say thanks, Mom, for praying for me!

Can't wait till you all come home.  It will be nice to see a little one running around the yard.  Willow will be happy to greet her too!!

Lisa and family,
How fortunate I was to run into you today at HST and be able to share in your joy.  Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your planning, waiting, and growing excitement.  In a recent adoption show a woman adopted a child and constantly was told how lucky the baby was to have been "saved" by the parents.  Her response was that it was the other way around - the baby saved them.  I know it will be true for you.  As I look at the family pictures I am struck by the love I see in all the family members.  As Emma-Lin said, "We are love and we are funny".  I couldn't have said it better.  You hold a special place in my heart.

Lisa, Sean and Emma,

You all are very lucky to have each other and to be adding such a beautiful daughter and sister to your already wonderful family.  IWe wish the best in your travel to bring home your precious daughter.  You no longer need the luck of the ladybug to bring your daughter to you.  Wishing you ladybugs everyday from here on out for all your hearts desires.

I came across this little poem and immediately thought of you.

KISSES IN THE WIND

I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...
Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend.
But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I send to you each night.
