We have now been home from China with Cora-Li for almost five
months, and it is hard to believe that so much time has passed.
I have been lucky enough to stay home and watch Cora learn and
grow as well as see Emma start school. Both girls are learning
from one another what sisterhood is all about. It is wonderful
to see the sharing, hugging, kissing and laughing that goes on
between the two of them along with the normal sibling rivalry!
Cora has gone from a 14 month old who could only sit up or lie
on her back when we got her, to a spunky, little girl who can
walk, talk, run, jump, hop, climb, and feed herself among other
things. It really is true that all you need is love to flourish.
Everyday brings new trials and tribulations that we welcome with
open hearts.
Our family and friends have been a wonderful support throughout
our adoption experiences, and they continue to be a part of
making our lives and our children’s lives so special. We our
grateful to them, and we also thank God for his blessings.
Colossians 3:14
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all
together in perfect unity. |
