Our Family

Phil and I have been married 22 years and have 4 wonderful children, David 20, Matthew 18, Sarah 16, and Jordyn 2. These kids have been such an incredible blessing in our lives and now God has blessed us again by giving us the opportunity to adopt Eli. Who would have ever guessed that we'd be going back to China so soon. At some point during our long wait for Jordyn we realized how nice it would be for her to have a sibling near her age to grow up with. Soon after the initial excitement of having her home quieted down a bit we started talking about adopting again, since this had been our hope from the beginning. After a great deal of prayer and contemplation we felt impressed to pursue a special needs adoption. With the blessing from our kids we put our hope in God's hands and on September 19, 2009 we applied through Madison Adoption Associates for a little boy or girl from China. We were matched with Eli on October 21, 2009.

Our Family David is 20 and is currently attending Central Washington University. He is working toward a career as a professional pilot. He loves flying and hanging out with family and friends.

Matthew is 18 and is a high school senior.
Any chance he can, he is up at the mountain snowboarding with his buddies.

Sarah is 16 and is learning to drive! She loves spending time with her friends.

Jordyn is 2 and she has captured our hearts!
