Sunday, March 30, 2008 GOTCHA DAY! After our 2 hour plane ride we drove to the hotel. We were told to go to our guide’s room at 3:00 and we would all go down together to meet our babies. I was one of the last people off the bus and as I went into the lobby I saw at least 4 babies! I thought one of them looked like Evie but I didn’t trust myself because I was so excited and drained of all energy. Turns out later, it was Evie! All 8 families were called together in a room and one by one our baby’s names were called and you were able to go meet your baby. Our adoption agency took a video of this and every family will get a copy. Can’t wait to share it with everyone! We were about the 4 or 5th family to be called. I was trying not to cry because I didn’t want to scare the baby! It is hard to put in words the joy we felt and the disbelief that we finally have a daughter. She is beautiful as you can see!
