OUR STORY
“For I know the plans I have for you
declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans

When Karl and I married ten years ago, we dreamed, like most
couples, of having a family of our own someday-a little boy like
him or a girl like me . . .
After seven years of trying to conceive, we have finally
accepted that the way we wanted to become a family was not the
way that God wanted to make us a family . . .

Heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY ways higher than
your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” ~Isaiah 55:8-9 |
We know in our
hearts that God intends for us to be parents someday, in His
time and in His way. Adoption is something that we said we
would always consider. After an extremely difficult year, we
finally decided that God would not want us to continue
suffering this way, and that He was leading us to adopt. We
know in our hearts that He has a little girl waiting for us in
China-maybe even two!
It’s amazing how at peace we are after succumbing to God’s
will. It’s as if an overwhelming weight has been lifted from
our shoulders and our vision is finally clear. We are so
excited about our new mission! God is good!
