Jianmei is in Shanghai, and that is where we are heading. We’ll
fly directly to Shanghai, where we’ll spend our first week,
receiving Jianmei on Monday, December 7.
From Shanghai, we will fly to Guangzhou for the
final week as we complete the adoption process and then will fly
home (sweet home)!
OUR ITINERARY
December 3rd…Fly from Cleveland to Newark and then to
Shanghai. Plane leaves Cleveland at 6:25 am
December 4th…Arrive in Shanghai Pudong Airport at 2:55pm
(16 hours air travel time plus 3.25 hour layover)
December 5th and 6th…Touring and visiting Shanghai
December 7th…Family
Day!!!
December 8th…Civil Affairs office in Shanghai for
registration and notary
December 9th…Visit Chenghuang Temple
December 10th…Visit Shanghai History Museum
December 11th…Fly to Guangzhou
December 12th…Medical Checkup
December 13th…Sunday Sermon and then shopping
December 14th and 15th…On our own. Sightseeing and tours
December 16th…US Consolate to take Oath
December 17th…Last day in China, possible tour to Yuntai
Botanical Garden
December 18th…Leave Guangzhou at 10am…Arrive in Beijing
at 1:00pm. Leave Beijing at 5pm, arrive in Newark at
5:35pm(!!!)…Arrive in Cleveland at 9:45pm. Don’t know how long
that is, but we’re HOME!!! |
