Comments: Hi Dochertys, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has quickly become addicted to reading about your adventure. Every morning at 9:00 I start checking to see if there are any updates. This has been so incredible for all of us at home. While you have obviously changed the life of a special little girl along with your own family, you have no idea what an impact you are having on so many other people. We can't wait to hear more!! I wish we could be at the airport tomorrow night to welcome you home, but we are off to Chicago for a few days. We will certainly be at church on Sunday to meet Kayla for the first time, though. We definitely don't want to miss that!!! We were at Gymboree today and saw so many things that had Kayla written all over them. Did Grammie save anything for the rest of us to give her?????? Do you think that you could update your site each evening once you are home for those of us who are addicted to following your lives? I have loved Drew's antics (the shower cap picture is the best!), Abby's beautiful smile each day as she spends time with her sister and the joy and love on all your faces as your enjoy Kayla. What will we do each morning if there isn't anything new to run to the computer to catch up on? Our mental health is at stake here! One of our favorite times in China was singing at the church with 1,000 other Christians from all over the world. Jillian is so excited when I turn on the computer to show her Kayla. She says her name over and over and then waves at the computer. Nate wants to know what everything says and keeps saying "Awwww" when he sees Kayla. Comments: Love the pictures today. Looks like Dan is getting the scruffy look Todd has been wearing for several months now. The Thai Restaurant sounds like a blast -- the music choices are hilarious. Joci and I plan on driving to the airport for the homecoming (the first day I'll be allowed to drive in 5 weeks, that is if I remember how and if the Dr. clears me -- if not, the whole family will come out). Comments: Hey gang, SOS went well for Easter but we missed you. We showed the Three Trees video and played the Easter Egg relay game. We are saving "Easter Jeopardy" for next Sunday at the new site. I told them all to study up and they were excited. Chris and I will be at our friends "50th" celebration in Toledo next week, so we are glad you will be back for SOS Amy! Jenn, Troy and the boys came over to have Easter dinner and an egg hunt with us. We had a great day. Mom and I will be at the airport on Wednesday night...can't wait. Chris will be in Atlanta. Comments: I'm reliving our own trips vicarioulsy through these posts. Wow! Shamian Island! I know those buildings in the background! We've walked those same streets! Signed those same forms...been to that same crowded medical clinic for the physical exam of our own daughters. I am so fond of those places! I just got back from England and found that all the little girls wear the swim caps when they take swimming lessons (I went with our little Genna to her classes). No doubt she will be clapping and dancing to those contemporary songs. Soon she will see her Dad and Mom up on that stage each Sunday and is bound to love singing at Water's Edge. Who knew a 18 month old could take down an entire family and then some? Stay strong...and remind her who is boss...this doesn't work at all, but it makes you feel better when you say it. Ha! Comments: Hi from the States! What a great-looking family. It's so wild that it is already tomorrow where you are. You'll be living the plots of two movies during your trip, "Back to the Future" and on the way back it will be "Groundhog Day" getting to re-live March 26. Kayla's age is my favorite -- when they are like a sponge, learning everything in quantum leaps. Comments: Here comes another God thing...He just keeps sending His love down loud and clear! I was leading the Children's Ministry in your place, Amy, and the first thing I did when I got on stage at 10:15 was to tell the 68 children in attendance that you and your family were in China. We had the consumed video up on the screen , ready to go, and of course your screensaver of Kayla was there. I had all the children look at her picture and told them she would be coming to join all of us at SOS soon and we would all be ready to welcome her as the newest member to our group. During those same moments we were receiving her in our hearts at church, you all were receiving her in your arms in China. That timing is another one of those "small miracles" that God puts before us all the time. I had no idea the time or hour you would get her, and to think that the Holy Spirit prompted me to talk about her during the same moments you were joined with her fills me with awe! I can see she is everything you all dreamed of for so many years. Congratulations dear friends. We love you all!!
