Thursday, February 25, 2010 COMING UP ON ONE YEAR Well it's been almost a year since we adopted Lara and it's amazing how quickly the year has flown by! At the same time, it seems like she's been a part of our family forever. She is just this amazing, happy, sweet girl that we are so blessed to have as a daughter and sister. She has completely adjusted to her new family and home and is so outgoing and friendly. Two days ago I took her to view the preschool she will be attending next September and she just about shoved me away and jumped out of my arms. Then she preceded to squirm in between two 4 yr. old boys and start coloring on the easel the teacher had just set out! All with an angelic smile at the teacher. That's my girl. Guess I'll be the only one crying on her first day of preschool! Well this is it for my posts here. I used it as a travel diary of sorts while in China. I'm actually not much of a blogger. If you'd like to see more pictures of Lara, you can see them here. It is a blog of scrapbooking pages and info. It has lots and lots of pages from our trip to China.
