Trip to China

Thursday, July 10, 2008 Today is our last day in China. I'm surprised that I'm saying this but the last week has went very fast for us. We have thankfully enjoyed our last part of this journey. Today we slept in late, Jenna didn't get up until 10:45. We decided to skip breakfast and have an early lunch. You can tell from the photos that she enjoyed her egg noodle soup. We had to pick up our laundry and the photos we dropped off to have developed that the orphanage director gave us. At 2:45 we have our consulate appointment and then the adoption will be done. We will have one last group supper tonight, this time McDonalds yummy! We started packing up last night and will finish up after supper. We leave for the airport at 5:00 am, I think our flight is at 8:00. We should arrive in Louisville around 6:30 PM on Friday. We hope to see everyone there. Say prayers things go much smoother on the way home then how it was on the way here. Adam and Alex, we love you so much and can't wait to see your faces at the airport. Make sure you are first to come greet us. We would like to thank everyone for their support and love during our adoption journey. We would also like to thank China and God for blessing our family with this beautiful little girl. We know she will enrich our lives in so many ways. To all the families that are still waiting for their child. Don't give up, it will happen. Just let God guide you and know that it's in his hands and not ours. Love, Kristie, Scott and Jenna
