Today was another great day!! We just can't get enough of the little girl she has become. She looks so healthy and happy now.

This morning was our U.S. Consulate appointment. We swore in by giving an oath that all our information we have given is correct. The we just handed them a huge pack of paperwork. Easy enough. This appointment is just Lillian applying for a travel visa into the U.S. She travels to the U.S. on a Chinese passport and will become an official U.S. citizen once her feet hit U.S. soil. Yay!!

Most of our group went to Safari Park today. This park is a privately owned zoo. It was so nice!! Tim and I agree that it was much nicer than any we've ever been too. The staff interacts with all of the animals. The animals are so lively and animated. They have all the animals really close to you to. Best trip yet.

We spent lots of time there so when we got back we just ate in a restaurant in the hotel and came back to the room. She had a big day but was so good the whole time. Never really fussing or crying. Went straight to bed when we got back to the room...she goes down to sleep just perfect. We are really hoping this won't change too much when we get back.

It's funny that when you are over here so long you start to get used to the customs. It's so natural for me to just climb into the car with her right on my lap. It will be strange to put her in a car seat!

We will miss the food, nice and helpful people, breakfast buffet, new culture, beautiful parks/trees, and the walking. We will not miss the smells. The smells are funny here...you'll be walking along and bam!..sewer...then bam!..spices. It happens when you least expect it...yuk! Also the congestion, smog, hanging laundry, having to drink and use bottled water, bus/taxi transportation, and living in a hotel. We can't wait to come home but will miss her culture.

Hayden, Declan, Grady: Loved seeing you this morning!! So glad you got to finally see your sister awake. We were so touched by your thoughtfulness and excitement when you blew her kisses. She looked very happy to see you and we know she will be thrilled to meet you. She fell down in the hallway when she was chasing me and laughed so hard about it. I think she is going to like (gentle!) wrestling with you 3. Tomorrow we will be in Hong Kong then...United States!!! We love you so much!
