On October 28, 2008 we requested the file of Zhu Bi Hong. When we opened her file and saw her, we knew this was our daughter. We quickly locked her in and sent our Letter of Intent to Adopt on October 31, 2008. We received our Letter of Acceptance on January 27, 2009 and plan to travel in late March.

She was found at the age of 3 by the local police. All attempts were made to find her birth family but they could not be found. She was placed in the Zhuhai City Social Welfare Institute and has been living there ever since.

She is described by her nannies as quiet, gentle, sensible, docile, clever, gets along well with others and has a ready smile. She could speak when admitted and quickly learned Cantonese. Now she can skillfully communicate in both Cantonese and Mandarin. She eats 4 meals a day, her favorite foods are fish, vegetables and soup. She can tie her own shoelaces, ride a bike, is fond of music and playing with toys and she likes to look at picture books.
