Today we went for Lily’s Medical Examination that is required. They didn’t do much but it was a unique experience. Being a nurse I found it very interesting that the nurses her wear the white cap. Everything their checked out normal. The only other thing we did was go to the electronics market. It was very overwhelming and we left with only buying some Chinese children’s DVD’s. One is a popular Chinese cartoon character and one is a set of DVD’s to help her learn English.

This afternoon during free time we took her swimming. She would only go in the shallow area but seemed to enjoy it. The water was pretty cold; it was overcast and breezy so we didn’t stay long.

We had pizza in the room tonight and she has pilfered through the entire room. She is so curious about everything and wants to know what everything is for. Today she made us laugh when she grabbed our inflatable travel pillows to take to the pool. I had to try to explain to her that it wasn’t for that!
