Love your website -- I'm visiting after seeing your post on the CCAI list. And I stopped to visit because we have a Lydia too, home from China 15 months now, and the joy of our hearts. . . who has also completely transformed our ideas about God and our relationship with him too (Rom. 8:15). Laurie, Dan, and Lydia (2.5, Changde, Hunan) waiting for TA for Caroline, 15 months, Zhangjiang, Guangdong)
Dear Kim, I was very blessed by your family's web site! My husband and I have been married for 3 years, and we are also in the process of adopting our first baby from China. When I looked at your web site, I was excited for many reasons. First, I had just expressed to my husband this morning my desire for our adoption web site to point to God more than to our baby. I have been reading in Exodus of God's very specific details in building the tabernacle, sewing the priests' clothes, etc. The fact that God is so concerned with even the seemingly small details of our lives...and how every aspect of our lives is for His glory...was impressed on my heart. While it will be nice for family and friends to see our adoption process through our web site, my desire is that it so speaks of God's amazing love that it is a tool in His hands for the salvation of others. Your web site is an exemplary model of a site that points to Christ! I pray that it will be a blessing for all who view it, especially those who are not yet believers. Second, lately I have been drawn to pray for our child's purity, as well for our entire family to be set apart in modesty. As I looked at the photos of your family, the innocence and purity of your children is evident. Your children's faces shine with the love of Jesus. What a blessing and inspiration to see a family who is clearly set apart for service to our Lord. God has truly confirmed in my heart these things I have been praying for! God bless you and your family! In His love, Tish tishgoff70@hotmail.com
Mike, Kim and family we will definitely add you to our prayers. We think it is so wonderful that you are going to add to your already beautiful family. May God bless you on your journey. All of our love, Randy, Robin, Maegan, Ryan and Madelyn

Dear Mike and Kim, I enjoyed your website so much. You have such a beautiful, loving family. You are so blessed with 4 beautiful children now and soon it will be five beautiful children. God has chosen the perfect family to bring this child home to. Both Ed and I will be praying for sweet Lydia as well as those that care for her. May our Lord hold her gently in His arms always and bring her safely to you. I know God will take care of all of her needs because we are praying for her. As it says in Proverbs 16:3...."Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." Please know we will be praying for your entire family. Because He lives and loves us....we love....Ed & Peggy Shaffer
Mike & Kim, what an incredible journey you have ahead of you and your wonderful family. Lydia is in our prayers and so are all of you. I am so passionate about adoption and wanting to adopt a baby girl from China, I have for years. We have two boys that God has blessed us with, but are longing for a daughter. We are trying to find the fiancial means and if you have any ideas for us, please email us. God's blessed all of you with so much and we are so happy for your family.

Dearest Wise family, God has blessed you so much. You have touched us deeply. We are praying for you all, especially Lydia and her birth mother. May they both feel His love and presence during this difficult time. Your friends, The Terrell family
I love the website. You have done a wonderful job. We can't wait until we can meet Lydia. May God bless you through the long process.
Lydia, By the time you read this the amazing journey to your new home will be complete. I do not think you could possibly have a father, mother, sisters, or brother who could love you more. Without even seeing you, I know God has prepared you for them and them for you. You are truly loved! I cannot wait to meet you! Christy Smith
Mike & Kim, Congratulations on your decision to adopt. We already had 3 bio children (2 of them were teenagers) when we decided to adopt in 2002. In November, 2003 we adopted our beautiful Abby from Hunan province. She has been an incredible blessing to our entire family! We are also a CCAI family. Good luck to you on this wonderful journey. Shari Ulrich
Mike and Kim: I was so impressed with your website I decided to write. Our daughter, son-in-law and their oldest boy arrived in China today enroute to their new baby daughter Chloe Reese. You can read their website and learn more about them. It is so wonderful to see more and more Christian families adopting these beautiful girls from China and bring them home to families they can love and who will love them and teach them of their Loving Father in Heaven and Christ who has a plan for them. We cannot wait until our family returns from China with little Chloe. God bless you and we wish you many more blessings to come. Chloe's grandmother, LaRae Day.
Hey Kim! It's Donna from ccai-chasers yahoo group. Just wanted to say that I love your site and your family is just beautiful. Very best wishes on a speedy DTC/LID!
Dear Kim and Mike, I love your website and am impressed with how close to God you are. We have 3 bio boys and two girls adopted from China. They are 2 and 3 and the perfect additions. We finally feel our family is complete. It makes my heart sing to know that Lydia will come home to such a loving, blessed family as I feel our girls have. Godspeed and safe journey. Our first girl was only 9 months and we waited nearly 15 months from DTC to referral. We got caught up with SARS. Soon you will have Lydia in your arms. Susan susan.stark@comcast.net
I really enjoyed your website! We are also in the process of adoption, longing for our baby Gracelin. But it will all be in God's perfect timing, and I will pray for you and your family! But also for Lydia that God will keep her safe until she is in your arms! In God's Love, Penny

Mike, Kim, Gracie, Abigail, Evie, and Jack Henry, We are looking forward to our ninth grand child. We pray that the Lord will wrap his arms around little Lydia and keep her safe until she comes home to our family. Mike and Kim, I know that you wanted and prayed for a long time that you would have a baby from China. Now God is making this come true. I remember when you got the Chinese doll. When you and Mike got married, you told me to give away all of your dolls, but I just couldn't make up my mind to give them away. Now I'm glad I didn't. We are praying that God will be with each one of you and give you strength and patience until Baby Lydia comes home. May God bless you. With lots of love, Dad and Mom
