Wednesday, November 25, 2009 After breakfast today, we packed up for our flight home tomorrow and headed back to the island for some last minute shopping. I am starting to like the haggling over prices and think I am getting rather good at it. Brad and Megan even told me I was vicious. Watch out I may bite! After that, we went to the park with Jenny, Mark and their new bundle of joy, Kennedy. The park was very active and beautiful. There was even an outside activity area for adults. It literally looked like a playground at first and we were going to see if Lynden wanted to play on the monkey bars and parallel bars. Then, we realized that all the “kids” playing on the equipment were adults. There were several tables of table tennis there and people playing badminton. There were no kids in the playground at all. It was surreal. I wish we would have taken a picture. We concluded the day with a final dinner with our group. We all took picture of each other’s family and said so long to some of the families that will not be flying home with us. We really enjoyed getting to know the other families in our group and will miss them. We hope to maintain contact. To all of our family and friends at home, we can’t wait to see you and tomorrow’s flight cannot carry us to you soon enough. While we enjoyed Guangzhou , there is no place like home. Please pray for good weather and safe travels (and that Lynden stays calm on the plan and does not lose it again)
