Trip to China

Monday, December 10, 2007 There is not much to report today. Macy had her visa picture and medical checkup in the morning. The checkup was chaotic but went fine. She weighs 17 pounds , 7 ounces and is 33 inches long! She is going to be tall like her daddy. After that we all did a little shopping and then had lunch at Lucy’s which specializes in American type food. The French fries were great! We ate with a couple we have become friends with; their names are Tim and Melinda and they have two boys and now their daughter Anna who is 10 months old. They are from the St. Louis area. After lunch the boys took the babies back for their naps and the women did some serious shopping. It is fun but all starts to look the same after awhile. Then after that Kathleen went to the pearl and jade market for some special purchases. Dinner was a combination of Thai and Papa John’s in our room again with Melinda and Tim. The babies crawled around on the floor and loved it. It is so nice to be in a more westernized area but we are still anxious to get home. We hope everyone is doing well and we love you all.
