James and I have been married for
ten years. We met thru a cherished friend in the fall of 1996.
Since that first date, we were inseparable. We share our happy
home with three awesome and incredibly spoiled cats.
We have had so much fun over the years that we decided we wanted
to share that with a child and become a family of three. Our
adoption journey began three and a half years ago and we knew in
our hearts that our child was from China. We blew thru the
paperwork in record time and were logged in December 28th 2005.
At that time we were told to expect to bring home our child
within seven to nine months. We have been waiting now for twenty
six months.
The wait has been hard for us to understand some days but we are
comforted in knowing that the Lord’s timing is ALWAYS perfect.
We know we won’t meet Marossie one minute before the Lord has
intended us to become a family and we can hardly fathom how
amazing that first minute will be much less the rest of our
lives together.
We want to say thank you to the family and friends who have
stood by us during our wait for Marossie, we know it has been an
investment of your time and energy, not a second of it has gone
unnoticed or unappreciated. We are beyond blessed to have you in
our lives. To say thank you simply does not say enough.
