Trip to China

We have our TA/CA!!!! The visas are done and the flights are booked, now we wait and count down the days until we embark on the most important journey of our lives so far. May 7th (Wed.) Depart from Oklahoma City to connect in Chicago then on to Beijing! This is just one day after James birthday! Happy Birthday Honey! This is going to be one to remember. May 8th (Thurs.) Arrive in Beijing and check into hotel. May 9th (Fri.) Visit the Great Wall and Summer Palace May 10th ( Sat.) Visit Tian’an men Square and Forbidden City May 11th ( Sun..) Leave Beijing and fly to Guangzhou and check into hotel; Happy Mother’s Day Moms and Grandmas, We LOVE you! May 12th ( Mon.) MAROSSIE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May 13th ( Tues.) Complete adoption proceedings May 14th ( Wed.) Free Day May 15th ( Thurs.) Visit Chen Clan Academy May 16th ( Fri.) Visit Guangzhou Zoo May 17th (Sat.) Marossie’s medical exam May 18th (Sun.) Tour the Yuntai Garden May 19th (Mon.) Tour the Yuexiu Park May 20th ( Tues.) Obtain Marossie’s passport May 21st ( Wed.) U.S. Consulate appointment, our BLAS guide will appear for us and submit our paper work. May 22nd ( Thurs.) Report to the U.S, Consulate for the oath taking ceremony; later that afternoon we will receive Marossie’s U.S. visa! This is a big deal because it means we are ready to begin our journey home! May 23rd ( Fri.) Depart Guangzhou and fly to Hong Kong, from there we will make a very important stop in Chicago for official immigration business, then on to our final flight HOME! James and I are overwhelmed with excitement, we ask that you please pray us home and back! Most importantly, please pray for our sweet girl’s mental, emotional and physical adjustment to all the drastic changes we will ask her to face during our time of transitioning into our family. We know that we do not walk this journey alone. Thank you all.
