Trip to China

Tuesday, May 20, 2008 Hello Everyone! The three of us had a great, lazy day today. It was raining so we just stayed in for the most part. We did get out for just a little while because Marossie was going a bit stir crazy. She also had a little shopping left that she wanted to do! We had Papa John's for lunch, it was delivered in thirty minutes by a guy on a bicycle! Now that's service. Marossie had two good naps today and really acted like she could have slept more. She has been babbling for a couple days now. She says two things 1) “doy yuh” we have asked around and we are told it means the word more. 2) “eye yuh” this means yes. She says these words over and over and over. We are trying to accommodate her when we can! ha. We also have the correct pronunciation of her Chinese name, Jia Ying sounds like “jaw yeen”. We don't use her Chinese name very often though because she is answering to Marossie very well. Our girl is getting stronger every day, she is eating well and she and Dad have had a wonderful time together today. I knew she would come around. Better go, it's bath time!
