SUMMER/FALL 2007 UPDATE
Well, it has been too long since I've posted news about darling
Mei and
our
family! Too long to detail all the events but she is now 16
months,
chatters on like a very chatty little toddler, walks and runs,
climbs
and
dances. Mei's favorite two activityıs are to run away from you
giggling and
to dance, dance, dance. Mei is so sweet and so very independent.
She
loves
investigating new environments and being in the middle of it
all. She
is
the perfect 3rd child as she is constantly in motion and swept
up in
play
with lots of kids!
Being in China seems like a distant dream. I still look at the
pictures and
try to remember my first emotions. I think the first feelings I
had
for Mei
are the same feelings I have now just simple she's ours.
The thing that strikes me the most is that when I visit this
site of
Mei's
and look at her referral picture, I can't imagine her ever
without us.
I am
not sure why but even though she looks happy and content in
those
photo's
looking at them makes me tear up. I can't stand thinking about Mei
not
having me to love her every second.
It is hard to put my love for Mei into words. She is just
L-O-V-E. I
believe I imagined and felt Meiıs being before I ever met her.
The
first
glimpse of her adorable little face will forever be imprinted in
my
mind.
We've all had an amazing Summer and Fall with our Margaret Mei.
Her
big
brother and sister adore her and her Daddy is smitten.
Tonight when I was putting Mei to bed she was resting on me and
snuggling.
She took her finger and pointed to herself and said, ³Ma Ma²
then
looked at
me and pointed to my chest and said "Ma Ma." That's just the
kind
of
moment I'd like to share. I treasure those words as they are the
the
undeniable bond of adoption. Hope you enjoy all the pictures of
