Mother's Day
I am living the best job in the world
I am a Mom to 3 (soon to be 4) wonderful kids, 3 conceived in my womb and 1 conceived in my heart. I also married my best friend and he is the love of my life. We took Mother's Day to a new level this year. It feels great..

Thank You
THANK YOU to our family, friends and to GracePlace for helping us here at the end of our journey to Myah!
Or should I say the beginning!
We are deeply moved...

Immigration emailed us this morning...
Our FBI fingerprints expired 5/08. We went to West Palm Beach Immigration 2 weeks ago to have them re-taken. The turnaround time is generally 4-6 weeks if not longer. But we happen to have a great relationship with our Adoption Unit Officer and she emailed us and said she mailed out our approval....we wait for 1 more approval letter from China and we are off like a prom dress....

WE ARE PRE-APPROVED

YIPPEEE..... We have received Pre-Approval (PA) from the CCAA. We are one step closer to receiving final approval for our child! Our last letter of approval should arrive in 4-6 weeks. We are hoping to travel around August. God is good...

There are more of us out there...

This weekend we had contact with other families that are adopting from the same orphanage , Meizhou Welfare Institute. We heard such great things about it. I met one family that has a child the same age as Myah. We are confident that our girls are playmates.
I have been trying to compare notes and figure out when we will hear from China. We are awaiting our pre-approval letter. Once that is received we wait for our LOA (letter of Acceptance). Then finally our TA (travel arrangements). According to our agency this entire process takes between 3-6 months. We plan on traveling around July/August....we pray its sooner.

Rough Day

We will be approaching 2 weeks from when we submitted our letter of intent to China for Myah. We still have not heard a word. I have been speaking with many of my internet friends and many have received pre-approval within 2-5 days. We have received nothing. Which leads me to think of the "what ifs". What if we don't get approved? Today I am feeling pretty sick from this rollercoaster ride. I am trying to remain positive but I am finding it very hard to do so. I am chained to my computer monitoring my email with hopes of a ray of light. Something....But Nothing...
