On April 15th, 2008 we received a call that would change our
lives forever. We have been matched with a beautiful
daughter and sister.

January 20th, 2007 (she shares a Birthday with my uncle
and Godfather)
She resides in
Guongdong Province, Maoming City and is currently in a
Orphanage.
She has repaired heart condition. (ToF) |
On April 17
2007 Hexi police station of Maonan branch of public security
bureau of Maoming City received a report from common people: a
female baby was found to be abandoned at the gate of Maoming
Daily Newspaper Printing Press on Hongqizhong road in Maoming
City. After search the baby’s birth parents can not be found. On
the same day she was sent to this Welfare Institute to be raised
upon agreement of civil affairs bureau of Maonan District of
Maoming City. On admission the baby wore a white baby suit with
green patterns, wrapped with a red towel. They call her "YaYa".
 We
received an update May 21, 2008:
"She can walk and run steadily. She enjoys playing games with
other children. Sometimes she tries to grab others' toys when
she's playing with other children. She's pretty good at
imitating. Seeing other kids cry, she will wipe their tears
using a towel, just like the care takers do. She understands
simple commands given by adults and is willing to give when
asked. She can utter "Papa" and "Mama". She's smart and full of
energy."
