WE HAVE A
LITTLE GIRL!
On November 5th. 2008 at 12:23 pm. We received a call from
our agency, informing us that we have a precious baby
girl. So this is what we know so far:
Her name
is
Bo Hai Tong
Birth date is
4\13\08 (about seven months old)
Province
Jiangxi
She's a deep sleeper
Holds her head up while lying on her stomach
Locates the direction of sound and voice
Visually follows moving toys
Follows you with moving head from one side to the other
Distinguishes between acquaintances and strangers
Laughs aloud
She's active
Fond of listening to music
Fond of picture books
And my favorite, She is sometimes obstinate (stubborn) |
We feel
truly blessed! This was the hardest thing we have ever
done, but was worth every painstaking moment once we
received our referral.
We also feel especially touched by God in fact that
something really amazing has happened. Two to three weeks
ago, we learned of another family who lives not only in
the same state, but only 15 minutes away from us!
They have the same agency, same LID, our baby girls are in
the same province, same orphanage, and are only 5 days
apart in birth. Some would call this a coincidence, We
think this is a gift to our girls from God.
The adoption community is surely a amazing one, We have
some friends that live about an hour away that have been
very supportive and they have been home with their
daughter from Vietnam for about a year now.
