Trip to Guatemala

Saturday, March 8, 2008 Hola! We made it to Guatemala early afternoon on the 7th and it’s been a whirlwind since! Flying over Belize and Guatemala was just amazing! The beautiful mountains and rivers were out of this world. The best part though, has been meeting my sweet baby Ella and she is just precious !! She has taken to us so very much more than we anticipated and is just the sweetest baby! I cannot even begin to describe the emotions that came over me seeing the foster mother and our attorney walking Ella across the hotel lobby. I did cry, but not as much as I thought I would. Ella was all bundled up and soaking wet with sweat when they unwrapped her! She has grinned and cooed non stop since. (Knock on wood) She’s been a very easy going baby so far and I feel very blessed. She fell asleep at 7:30 last night, woke at 3 am for a quick snack of formula, and back down she went until 8:30 this morning! She’s very inquisitive and is extremely ticklish!
