Hola!
Well....we arrived back in the US last night and have just now
had time to sit and type an update!! Ella did fantastic! She had
a stuffy nose, but I think it was due to the cooler air in the
hotel room than what she may be accustomed to. We finally
ventured out of the hotel some on Sunday afternoon with some
very sweet ‘online’ friends who just so happened to be in
Guatemala the same time. They are using the same agency/
attorney as us and it was so nice to finally meet them as we’ve
been chit -chatting back and forth online for nearly five months
now! They will be leaving Guatemala with their baby boy;
bringing him home forever on Wednesday! (I will post pictures of
us with them tomorrow...Brack took the pictures and they’re in
his camera!)
Overall, our trip to Guatemala was perfect! I am so thankful
that my brother was able and willing to join me and we got to
visit our little pumpkin....even if it was for just 4 short
days. Wendel , the boys and I are really anxious now to venture
back this summer to bring her home...and from what we were told
while there....it may be very soon!! Stay tuned and enjoy the
