Mike and Jenny
Mike and I have been married 12 years and are blessed with
two beautiful children, Elizabeth 8 ½ and Michael 6 ½.
Mike is employed with the Iowa National Guard and I am a
former elementary reading teacher and a stay at home mom.
We enjoy bike riding, outdoor activities, cooking,
attending our children’s activities, watching sports
together and an occasional dinner out without kids.

Elizabeth
Our kind, gentle, roller coaster loving, soccer ball
kicking, piano playing, picky eating, dog loving, third
grade artist. She’s a great big sister. Just don’t talk to
her when she is reading! Elizabeth’s letter to Ethan:
Dear Ethan,
I hope you are ok in China. We will come get you as soon
as we can. I am very excited that you will be in our
family, your Forever Family. I hope we can get you very
soon so we can play with you. All my friends want to know
when you’ll be home. I hope everyone loves you just like

Michael
Our All About Dad, all boy, ball loving, tree climbing,
animal lover, lego building, camo wearing, all around
great kid. Just as long as this first grader gets enough
sleep! Will be a great big brother to Ethan. Michael’s
letter to Ethan:

When you grow older, we can play Star Wars together! We
will have a great time! It might seem a little scary but
you will like it. We’ll be buddies. You will have more
