Ni hao! (Knee-How) That means Hello in Chinese! We started our morning off with another great breakfast and then we did our last morning devotion. “Bro. Matt” :0) led the devotion this morning. It was about rejoicing in the Lord, Always & in all things. You know yesterday it was sooo HOT here. None of us drank enough water and we were exhausted! It was hard to rejoice in all the HEAT! The very last store that we went into had a young Chinese girl working. She was so sweet & her English was very good. We started talking about different cultures and how in China women do not want to be dark from the sun. But, in America women try their best to get as dark as they can. Crazy huh? She told us that she was too dark and she wished her skin was lighter. Matt looked at her and said “you were designed for a purpose, and nobody else in this world is like you, nobody in this world has your fingerprints….you are unique. As Matt began to say that she began to cry & smile, cry and smile. It touched her. It was what we like to call a “seed planted!” It was amazing. Matt said that she looked as though no one had ever told her that. Can you imagine? Wow! We rejoiced that God had brought this to her heart, He touched her, and we were just a vessel.

We finally met the 15 other families that will be adopting & we had a fabulous lunch. Most of the families in this group are from California. They all seem to be really nice & excited about their big day tomorrow! Speaking of which…..as I type this post it is 10:00 pm on Sunday night for us, and we will wake up @ 5:00AM to board a plane @ 8:30AM. We will fly to Guiyang, Guizhou. This is were Faith is from & we will spend the next 5 days there. We have so many thoughts running thru our heads right now! It’s crazy, but we can hardly wait to meet our baby Faith! Please be in prayer for us as we travel and also as we meet Faith for the first time. I know she will grieve some for her foster parents, but our prayer is that God will help heal her wounds. Please also pray for her foster parents as well. I know they will miss her.

Don’t forget to click on “dropshots” at the top of this page. This will open up another page with more pictures. Well, I better go get some sleep…..for the BIG DAY tomorrow!!! Pray for us! We love each and everyone one of you!

Devotion Questions for Kids:

How long was Jonah in the belly of the fish? Why did God put him there? What does it show God when we obey him?
