Today we went to a very popular place here in China, the bird & flower market. We didn’t buy anything, because most of the items sold there wouldn’t make the plane ride home! LOL! We saw flowers, birds, fish, cats & dogs. I especially loved the puppies. Gran, we thought about smuggling home a little Pom-pom for you! :0) But, we figured Maggie wouldn’t like it! We had a good time, although, I didn’t get a good feeling when the dog seller’s ended and the meat processing began…?????

Anywho, it was a hot day today! We didn’t stay out too long in the heat; Faith doesn’t like the sunshine in her eyes….but, then again who does?? We also went to Jiaxiu Tower and scenic area. It was really incredible to see the architecture and wonderful history. We had a nice lunch at Pizza Hut….yes, you heard me...Pizza Hut. It was good too! Taste just like home. The service here in China is unbelievable. They really go out of their way to serve you! We could really learn a lot from them. They remind me of Jesus. He came to serve, not to be served. The people here are REALLY poor. We haven’t taken a lot of pictures of them, because it makes me feel like the paparazzi. I am just amazed at what the people do here for work…I’m talking hard labor people! We have no idea. Some of the things we’ve seen will make you have a whole new look at our world. We spend way too much money! I don’t think anyone can come to China and leave feeling the same. If you do, something’s wrong…spiritually wrong! We are very thankful that God has given us this wonderful opportunity to learn about a different culture.

Tomorrow we are headed to the famous waterfall, here in Guizhou. It is about a 2hr. drive from here, but we’re going to make it anyway. It is one of the largest in the entire world! We can’t wait to see it and post some pictures for yall! We are also going to visit a local village on the way and pick up some homemade items.

Great job on the questions about Noah yesterday!!! Noah loved God and did what pleased God. That is why God chose to save him. That is what we need to do also – obey. You are also right that he built and ark. How did Noah know how to build an Ark big enough to put all those animals in? Can you find what type of wood they used? Was Noah the only one that God saved? Who else?
