This morning was a rainy day here in Guangzhou, so we
decided to not go to the temple. We met up with the rest of the
group and did a little shopping! Faith is doing very well
adjusting to us. However, pray for us, because she’s used to
getting her way a lot & we’re not caving in!! :0) We just
thought God was teaching us patience with the waiting
period…..boy were we wrong! LOL! We are just so amazed at her, &
thank God for her everyday! She really is a perfect fit to our
family. She IS where she belongs!! When you meet her, you’ll
know what we mean. She’s a character!! Look out Plainfield! :0)
Tomorrow we are going back to Shamian Island for the medical
checkups for all of the little ones. We are really blessed, some
of the other babies in our group are really sick. I guess just
summer colds, but Faith is doing well. Praise God! Maybe we’ll
get to go back to Lucy’s so Matt & I can have some sweet tea!!
You guys don’t know how good we have it in the south!! Sweet
tea, clean water from the tap (in most places :)), fried
chicken, jelly biscuits. YUM! I better hush, I’m making myself
hungry! These are just a few things we are missing. LOL! We love
you all!

B-Man and Lil Bit:
Man was it great to talk to you this morning!! We are so excited
that you guys are having fun!! It is Sunday morning for you at
the time of this post. So, we hope you two had fun at church and
learned some more about Jesus! Don’t eat too much at MeMa’s….
I know Papa has been going over your devotion questions with
you. Thanks Papa! See if Aunt Sherry will help you post them for
you. I know you will have some great answers to the questions.
B-Man: We walked under the street today. That’s right, under the
street! There is a walk way under the street here that lets you
get across the road underneath it. That is pretty cool! We also
got to ride on a bunch of escalators. You know, those moving
stairs that go up and down. You would have had a blast!! WE MISS
YOU! WE LOVE YOU BUDDY!!!
Lil Bit: Sweetie, we saw so much jewelry today that you would
have been so excited! There were pearls, diamonds, silver, and
jade. There were bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. All those
things that you love to wear and play with. They even had things
in pink! WE MISS YOU! WE LOVE YOU this much!!!!! |
