Almost hard to believe that we’ve been in China for 12 days
now! We have loved every minute of it, but we are ready to come
home. We can’t wait for Broughton & McKenna to meet their new
baby sister. She is going to love her new big brother and big
sister. Today the group went to have the medical check-up done
on all the babies. Faith didn’t like it to good, so look-out Dr.
P! She had a good check-up, her ears looked good as well as her
measurements & reflexes were good too. We are very blessed, and
thank God every Day for his blessing of Faith. We are very
thankful to Him!
Today was also a day of first for Faith today. She had her first
Ice Cream cone, which she absolutely loved! She made a mess, but
who cares. That’s what baby wipes are for, right???... :0) Faith
also had her first swim today. She loves the water, just like
mommy, but doesn’t like the water in her eyes (just like aunt
Heddy:0) ) She is such a happy baby, & everyone loves to be
around her. She is also very smart, (I might add). She likes to
peel her own fruit, & cries if you try to help her! Also, in our
room we have a safe, where we keep most of our money and
passports. You have to make up a 4 digit code to get into it.
So, we have our code entered in & it’s locked, but guess
what..?? Somehow she had managed to crack the code and put in
her own 4 digit #. Yeah, so we couldn’t get in. We freaked for a
moment, then we had to call security and they had to come open
it up. Genius, I know….or either we’re not so bright…letting a
20mth. old play around with the safe…??? You got me! :0)
We ended our day with a pizza party thrown by USAA. All of the
families fit into 3 rooms and we ate pizza and some Chinese
delicacies. It was nice. Tomorrow we have an exciting day
planned…!!!.. PAPERWORK! Yep! There’s more :0) Maybe we’ll have
some fun pictures to share with y’all though! …sure wish Aunt
Heddy was here to do a photo opt!!! :0)

B-Man and Lil Bit:
B-Man> We got to go swimming today in a really big pool! Guess
what….Faith likes to swim. We got to go with some other kids and
parents that are here and we had a great time. I thought about
you and how you love to swim in the pool. It won’t be long and
hopefully we will be able to take Faith over to Aunt Pam’s to go
swimming. You can help teach her! We miss you! WE LOVE YOU
BUDDY!!!
Lil Bit> We love talking to you in the mornings. You are doing
so good dressing yourself and picking out your clothes. Did Nana
do your hair for church or did you? You will be able to before
long. Thank you for your great answers and the bird did come
back to the Ark. We are so proud of you! We miss you this
much!!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Wow! Talk about some great answers to the Noah questions!
They were really good. I especially like that you knew
that Noah built an altar to tell God – thank you. We need
to always tell God thank you. It means so much to know
that you two are praying for us and are praying at home!
What sign did God give Noah that he would never destroy
the earth by flood again? Did you know that this was the
very first one? There had never been one before this time.
There had never even been rain up to this time. God
watered the earth from the ground. I imagine Noah was
scared at the first rain, but he knew God was in control.
God promised Noah that a flood would never destroy the
earth again. Does God always keep his promises? |
