Well, our time is winding down here in China. We will miss
the people here. They are so friendly. We have really bonded
with the “China Team”, which are the guides here in China. They
all work for Norman, and do an Awesome job!
Today we had to stay around the hotel until 11:00. We had to
stay close by in case we were needed for questioning on our
paperwork. The china team took all our paperwork to the U.S.
Consulate for approval. Then, tomorrow we will go for our
swearing in and receive Faith’s visa. The visa & passport is
Faith’s ticket home! As soon as she steps foot on American soil,
she will become a US citizen!! Most of the families are leaving
tomorrow, but we leave on Saturday. Our flight plan is different
than most. As I’ve said before, we are ready to come home!
We have discovered that Faith needs her nap during the day. If
she hasn’t had her nap, you better look out! So, today we made
sure we were in the room after lunch so she could rest. She is
like a different baby! Although it’s almost 10:00 pm here, and
she’s WIDE OPEN! I think she’s still excited from the party we
just came from. We had a great time! All the families went to a
nice restaurant & had dinner, a little karaoke and dancing! It
was a lot of fun! We also took some great shots of Faith in her
pink Chinese dress. She was darling! Course, we are a little
bias. :0)
We thank each of you again, for your comments and encouragement!
We feel very blessed to have such wonderful friends & family to
follow this journey God’s has put us on!

B-Man & Lil-Bit:
B-Man> I am so proud that you didn’t get scared at the
fireworks!! That is so great and it was even better to know that
you prayed and realized that God helped you. We saw some real
big fish tonight and even got to eat some! They let you pick
your fish out of a tank before they cook it. Then they take it
and clean it and cook it for you so you can have fresh fish.
Kind of like us catching some fish and then going home and
cooking them. We can’t wait till we can go fishing together at
home! WE LOVE YOU BUDDY!!!
Lil Bit> WOW! I can’t believe my little girl is swimming under
the water and a regular little fish!! We are so proud of you. We
know you will have a great time at the beach. Make Aunt Heddy
and Uncle Bryan help you build a huge sandcastle. We got you
some of the cutest dresses today. We know that you will just
love them. We can’t wait to see you in them and see you getting
yourself dressed in them. WE LOVE YOU this much!! Beep – Beep,
Honk – Honk!!! |
Devotion Questions:
God always keeps his promises was the last devotion we
talked about. We know that God must keep and always keeps
his promises. That is so great to know. He tells us that He
will never leave us or forsake us. () That is the greatest
security and safety in the world. Moses knew this also. He
knew that God would guide him and show him where to go. In
Exodus 13, God led Moses and the Hebrews in the desert by
what during the day and what at night. All the Hebrews
needed to do was to follow where God said to go. We need to
do the same thing. He tells us what to do in his Word – the
Bible.
