Hello from Georgia!!!
We made it home safe and sound after a 12 hour flight on Delta.
It was a great flight and the flight attendants were wonderful
and very helpful. We can't say enough about how great they were.
After going thru customs and turning in the "brown " envelope to
the customs agent Elizabeth became a US citizen. We just cheered
for our girl, we couldn't have been prouder new parents. After
going through security again, we finally made to baggage claim
where our family and friends were waiting. It was so good to see
everyone and everyone was excited to see us with our new
daughter. Chris and I want to thank everyone for your emails and
prayers for our safe return back home. We want to first thank
our father for guiding us through this long journey helping us
to be patient and understanding for this wonderful gift that he
has given to us. Second , we want to thank our family and
friends who have always supported us from the beginning. Lending
an ear to listen when we were frustrated, depressed (because of
the long process) and confused wondering if we would make good
parents. To Joe and Jennifer of "my adoption website" this
journey would not have been the same without your commitment to
making each family stay connected to the world. We will continue
with monthly updates on Elizabeth and our happy family.
