Wednesday, January 7, 2008 There are no words to describe the way our hearts feel. It is the most incredible thing in the world to become a parent once, but I have been blessed twice with two of the most beautiful children in the world. I know it has taken a while to update, but it has been very busy getting into a routine. Gracie is adjusting well and is very happy. She smiles all the time except when she is tired or hungry. I want to say to all of you who are waiting to travel to China for the first time, it is a wonderful experience, not only for the obvious reason (your new family member), but the country and the people. We just loved China! We felt safe and the people were extremely nice to us. When we got off the plane after 26 hours of travel we were greeted by our wonderful, loving family with open arms (for Gracie). They were also so kind to alert the news media and we were put on the evening news and the afternoon news for 2 days. As you can see from the pictures none of us were looking our best. Gracie had her first birthday at home with us and her first Christmas as well. She is just like her ma ma, she loved the presents. She tore into those presents like it was her job! She can wave bye bye and give good slobbery kisses. She is so precious and most certainly worth the wait. God has blessed us and we are so thankful to him.
