HOME SWEET HOME

We made it home safely after a very long 24-hour travel. Experiencing our son’s country of birth, learning its culture and heritage and tasting its foods was an amazing experience. We look forward to sharing all that we learned with Jude as well as introducing him to his new home. Words cannot express how wonderful it feels to be home with Nadia and Gabe!

We wanted to take some time to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts and words of advice as we took this journey. The Guestbook comments really helped us though all of the emotions that were held during our first adjustments with Jude. Jared, who rarely uses the computer, would turn it on first thing in the morning to hear from everyone…again thank you.

We would like to thank all of our family and friends for helping take care of everything at home and the restaurant. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.

Lastly, a huge thank you to Mamaw and Papaw. A simple thank you seems insignificant compared to the wonderful care and love they provided to Nadia and Gabe while we were away. We would never have been able to make this journey without them.

Now we are adjusting to becoming a family of six. Jude is really making strides; each day provides a new accomplishment. He has really blossomed with the love and interaction from Nadia and Gabe. His attachment to Jared over the last couple days has improved dramatically. He is very loving, constantly giving hugs and has really figured out smooches. It has been fun watching him experience new tastes and textures. Nadia is by his side always explaining what something is, in her young age she has an amazing sense of teaching him. Please continue to keep Jude in your prayers as his journey of his life with us is just beginning. Thank you for following along, we look forward to sharing our updates with you!
