We're Home
Home
Sweeeeeeeeeet Home!
We made it, for a while we were not sure if we would ever feel
the softness of our bed or the warmth of the sun on our faces
again. We traveled for a total of 24 hours before we landed in
the good old U.S of A, I cried as we landed thinking of all that
I was grateful for in life. Our little Zilya became an American
citizen as soon as we hit the sweet American soil!
We spent 10 hours at the Chicago airport because our flight was
delayed, we arrived in Boise at 4:00 a.m. Friday morning January
12th 2007. 37 hours of traveling and 3 hours of sleep just
doesn't cut it for me.
We were so excited to see Moses and Keziah they looked like
they grew while we were away. They were so excited to see their
new sister they hardly noticed us. They have been busy fighting
over who gets to feed her and who gets to change her diapers.
Zilya thinks they are the greatest! Of course they are.
Zilya is adjusting very well to her new life, she is sleeping
through the nights and eating lots as you can clearly see. She
is such a perfect addition to our family.
We are excited for all of you to meet her, we have explained to
her that she has some really weird uncles, sweet aunties and
crazy cousins. She has met two of her three Grandmas and of
course it was love at first sight. Then there are the
Grandpas "Oh My" I warned her they were extremely strange and
funny looking, and they would ask her all kinds of funny
questions??? This did not seem to bother her, she has an extra
special spot in her heart for them.
Thank you all for joining us in our journey to bring home sweet
Zilya Joy, she has brought us more than we ever hoped for.
Love and Peace,
The Gliddens
