I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will
recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exalt in
you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. Psalm 9:1-2
I give thanks to God for a wonderful day. God has blessed us
with a beautiful daughter who finally is coming out of her
shell. It was very comforting to get a day off and enjoy our
daughter. God does miracles and we get to see one everyday. How
would I describe our daughter- scared is the big key and time
and God’s love will bring her to understand we will always be
there for her and love her. She has finally decided to smile and
yes, she does feel better and breathing is clear now- thank you
Lord. We feel that is why we got her a day early- she was sick.
We are in China ’s debt for allowing us to adopt this precious
girl. Her life is now filled with hope and a very bight future.
Didn’t do much of anything this morning. I am happy to report
that Grace is feeling much better; she even cracked a grin for
Baba! As soon as she saw the camera she went blank. In the
afternoon we drew attention and went to the local shopping
center. It was very expensive; much like Macy’s. It had
everything, even a grocery store inside. We bought some baby
food, baby wash, & dish detergent. When it comes down to food
China has everything even Pringles & Oreos! The only thing that
I have found that they don’t have is decaffeinated drinks. We
were amazed at the verity of things. Grace is beginning to trust
us and play give, give back with us. She is still afraid we will
leave her and doesn’t want us to put her down; but hey this is
only day three! We think she is progressing well. Oh yes, at
lunch today she began taking bites of a banana! Up until now she
didn’t chew anything. She has been eating mostly broths, conge
and eggs.
Thank you all for following along on our journey for our
daughter- it was a very long year with many ups and downs. We
are very happy with LH for our daughter.
Cecily and Nicole- be prepare for this little wonder from far
away. She is very bossy and demanding (just like you Nikki). We
know you both will lover without limits.
Your mom and I miss you and look forward to listening to your
voices each day. We are ready to be reunite as a family of five.
Please don’t duck tape Nanna too her chair. Take care and will
be seeing you in a few days.

Thank you Lord for allowing us
to be parents for this precious child!

She love to whack daddy
with tooth paste box and laughs hysterically.
