We spent the morning packing; Dave had tried to load photos the
night before and the lap top had a system failure…not good. So
we packed everything up. It was hard trying to find places for
everything! This is strange since we didn’t buy that much. Still
our baggage was heavy and we had to check 3 items in “check-in”
rather than 2. Joe Joe came up to bat for us and sweet talked to
airport personnel. The airplane was cramped and the clothing
police out in full force. People were clamoring to be the first
on the plane, and didn’t take notice to small children. I
resorted to elbowing people out of the way to stay close to
David who was carrying everything while I held the baby. Two
hours and I was relieved to land. It feels like North Carolina !
Already I love it here! We arrived at the White Swan at about 9
PM. We have a fabulous view of the river. We went to Cow and
Bridge and had some good food – although Dave says it really
didn’t taste like Thai food to him. Not all of us have been to
Thailand to be able to compare!
