Praise the Lord God Almighty! He has
done wondrous things in our lives!
Today we have finished our adoption of Hong Li; she is now Grace
Zhen Juan Phillips legally in the eyes of the United States and
in those of the Chinese government. We were handed our
certificate of adoption tonight at our “Red Couch” photo shoot.
Now we are free to leave China . “Blessed be the LORD, who has
not left you this day without a redeemer, and may his name be
renowned…” Ruth 4:14 b
Today we took the oath at the US Consulate. Now it is time to
pack our bags of all those cute squeaky shoes and beautiful
Chinese dresses and catch the next airplane home! YEAH!!! I am
ready. I miss my other babies and can’t wait to introduce
everyone to our newest addition. Tomorrow we fly to Hong Kong
then to Chicago ; then straight onto Philly. We may not be able
to update again until we reach North Carolina 2 weeks later, but
be sure to recheck drop shots as some more photos will be added
according to the date taken. Thanks so much for all the emails
and prayers and support you all have given us during this
journey it means more than we can express. Soon we will be HOME!
