Hello! We have arrived safely in China. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30 AM China Time on Friday (33 hours after leaving Tampa). The weather is very hot and humid...86 degrees when we arrived! The White Swan Hotel is fabulous. The rooms are gorgeous and we have a view overlooking the Pearl River. My mom has a room right next to ours. We each have a crib in our room!! In case you are wondering...the beds are very hard just like we were warned.

Even though we didn't get to bed until after 2 AM we were up bright and early and had the breakfast buffet at the hotel (great western food with a few Asian surprises)!

Today we hope to rest and get acclimated to the time change. Thanks for all of your comments in the guestbook...we appreciate the support!
